Did they ever say if 3D World's Beat Blocks could be changed to switch at every second? Like in one of the levels in the original game?
I remember there were certain secret features to the game that you basically had to find yourself. So if there is, that sounds like something people will just find on their own.

Oh well, hopefully it'll be in there...it'll make those blocks even better. xp

GameXplain uploaded a video showing off the online multiplayer. It looks solid and I'm happy it doesn't pause the entire game every time someone gets hit/gets a power-up/gets KO'd. Have a look:

It is hilarious how they blatantly made the best co-op Mario game as a bonus feature to Mario Maker when they used to sell co-op as the main selling point to certain games.
@Joeynator3000 You could possibly make an alternative to that using those red and blue on/off blocks. You could have a Koopa shell, for example, triggering the switch to turn the blocks on and off every second. It would be more difficult to set up but I think it would work alright.
Anyways yeah, I want that for the Blinking Blocks, also the ability to use the original music during the night theme. The music box thing is just....it doesn't feel right. lol
The wait is almost over! I started making a Bubble Bobble themed stage once in the original Super Mario Maker but never finished it so I thought I'd give it another try in the new one. I'm planning on using the 3D World style since it has clear pipes which can kind of replicate screen wrapping from Bubble Bobble. While things such as warp boxes work really well with the idea, I can't help but notice that some of my previous tricks from original Mario Maker won't work since 3D World style lacks some components. Here are two examples:
I had this nice contraption in my previous attempt that kept Boos in place until enough time had passed. They'd act as Baron von Blubba, the ghost that appears after "Hurry Up!" message. I believe I had the Boos on top of Munchers which prevented them from moving until the Munchers died. I learned couple of days ago that you cannot stack enemies in the 3D World style so that won't work. I had to experiment quite a bit in the original game to find a way to do it so I hope it wasn't the only way to do it. Probably wasn't.
Another slight annoyance is that I have to find another way to recreate stage 22 which has enemies trapped inside walls that you have to defeat by popping Thunder Bubbles. At least if I decide to use that stage again. I believe I had a Clown Car to shoot fireballs in a straight line which killed the enemies. So I take a look at the things available in 3D World style and... no Clown Cars. Then I remembered that there's also a Red Yoshi now. And nope. That's not available either.
The list of stuff available between 3D World and other styles is kind of weird. I can understand some decisions but there are lot of things that are excluded for no good reason. Maybe they just didn't have enough time and they're going to change things later?
I have other ideas that might work but still, I wish I could just use all the elements I need in one style. This might just be a problem for this particular stage and I won't have trouble with other stages. And it's likely that I'll find the solutions very quickly as I get to actually play the game. Just something I thought I'd share regardless. Maybe some of you already know the answers to my problems.
It's its, not it's.

Man i want to buy this day one at Target and get that free Mario Maker 2 tin lunch box. But i think i'll end up waiting as my local Walmarts lower every Nintendo game to $49.84 after 90 days.
Ugh....waiting is killing me....at least I imported Battle Cats Switch to kill time. (I would play Hollow Knight, but it's difficult to stop once you start. lol)
First thing I'm doing is recreating my 2 most popular remixes from the first game. (SMB 1-1 and 1-1 Advanced) After that I'm going all out with those Snake Blocks and Blinking Blocks, hopefully the Blinking will be updated to switch every second, that would be perfect for one of my Advanced levels. lol
