Topic: Super Famicom Coming to Switch?

Am I the only person that noticed the Super Famicom logo flash on screen real quick during the Direct today? It's near 11:04 on the YouTube upload.

I noticed it, too. Grumbles and I are assuming it’s because the music changes to Mario Kart with the Koopa Kar

It’s definitely tied to a sound effect.

Yeah but I get his point... why show that logo if a sound effect changes? And why show the SNES logo instead of the Super Mario Kart logo?

For the same reason other sound effects do the exact same thing, it's flashy.

Many of the sound effects they used in the direct show a glimpse of an icon or character.

I doubt they'd hint at a download completely unrelated to the base game in Super Mario Maker 2, but who knows? I guess we'll see at some point in the future?
