Hey all!
I have a starnge question but im 100% seriously about it.
I have the switch lite and today before I played it, I applied sunscreen to my skin and after that I touched on my Switch Lite and my hands was a little oiled because of that.
My question is if it can cause corrosion to appear on the Switch?
If not I will be glad if you will explain to me how coroosion can apper and how can I avoid that.
Thanks!
@BruceCM
First of all ty very much for your comment! ^^
Now about your answer:
Yes, is all covered in plastic, but there is some openings at the top and bottom of the Switch Lite...
if It touched there, will it lead to some metal?
ty!
I highly doubt it would tarnish the Switch but it would leave it all oily. And nobody likes that. My advice and what i've been doing for 2 years plus now is to clean your Switch with 100% alcohol wipes. Use wipes on the buttons and everything but the screen. Then i use LCD screen cleaner for the screen. But to answer your question i don't think you have to worry about a corrosive reaction.
Well, I suppose so, @Korina .... But then, it should take more than a little cream on your hands Were you sticking fingers into openings? That generally isn't a good idea

hahahhaha
I didnt did it/
I mean after I saw my switch have some cream on the openings, I just removed it with my fingers(little swipe on the openings) and after that I cleand it with paper and that is it.
I just afraid some cream went inside the console...
Well, try to avoid that, just to be on safe side, @Korina .... But I think you're worrying too much, really Metalwork should all be stainless steel &/or coated in something to help resist a little damp
There's natural oils on skin, damp in the air & so on, anyway
