Topic: Stern Pinball Arcade

I got pack 2 with Ghostbusters and Last Action Hero the latter being my main reason for getting that pack. I'm tempted to get the Starship Troopers table too. So I must be really bad at pinball cause these tables are hard! Anyone else struggling to get high on the leaderboard consistently?

And also what's the deal with the mini game at the end of all tables 'match' I don't get it, it doesn't seem to do anything even if you do get a match.

@Filth_Elememt, if you were playing one of these tables for real, getting a match at the end would net you a free play.

I assume they just kept it in for authenticity purposes.

Yeah I think I just like Zen's because they do stuff that real pinball tables can't do.

@RR529 ah good to know thanks man. I think I kinda begrudge having to sit through that Match game animation now. Especially the longer ones like Ghostbusters and LAH whereas I like the bug thinking on the Starshiptroopers table, (yes I caved and bought the other bundle) but still enjoying it immensely!

This is the best news ever! Kinda makes Stern Pinball a bit redundant though.

@JoeDiddley, the newer Stern tables (such as Ghostbusters, AC/DC, Star Trek, etc.) are exclusive to the Stern version of TPA, and aren't available in the original version.

Yeah, the Stern Pinball Arcade is pretty redundant, which is why I've held off buying anything on that. I'm just waiting for the regular Pinball Arcade to drop as I want all my games in one app, rather than separated. I really hope Farsight can keep their word for once and the regular TPA comes soon, because I'm ready to switch (no pun intended) from using my iPod Touch for portable pinball to my Switch!

Just had my best run on the Harley Davidson table. Got to number 1 on the high score table 289,093,210

I still haven't downloaded this, was considering it mostly for the Star Trek table, but I just had a chance to play that table in a real-world arcade and found it very uninspired. It's not completely terrible, just rather boring.

So there goes most of my enthusiasm for Stern PBA. Back to Pinball FX I go!

Does anyone know if the new premium pack dlcs actually include the tables or are they just upgrades if you bought the original tables already? Also, if anyone did buy it, do the premium editions make any difference or is it just aesthetic?

@dok5555555 I just bought the Limited Edition Ghostbusters and AC/DC tables, without owning the regular respective tables, and I can confirm that they are separate tables.

I am curious to know if there is any reason for me to buy the regular versions?
