Topic: Steep

For the people that played the other versions how solo-unfriendly is Steep? I remember alot of hype about the multiplayer.

@jump Steep required an internet connection on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Not really sure if there's a single player mode. I guess you could find a spot with few people and play there..?

That's a shame if it requires a constant internet connection, it pretty much makes it useless for Switch's handheld mode.

Did the Ubisoft thing yesterday mention what's going on with the Switch version? I know they announced the new expansion pack.

I don't think they mentioned it. I presume the Switch version releases along with the expansion pack for the other consoles.

Either it releases with the expansion pack, or they quietly cancelled the Switch port since we haven't had any more info on it.

It was not mentioned, which was made more odd by the fact that they lead with Mario+Rabbids

I figured something was up when they didn't show it at E3. The game is mediocre anyway IMO.

@Joytendo22 That's true. It would definitely be a good thing to get the game. It just wouldn't personally affect me because I'm not really a fan of sports games, and that game especially doesn't appeal to me.

If this game gets cancelled on the Switch, that's not a good thing for the system. Okay, it's a year old port of a game that didn't review great and don't think sold all that well either. However, it's still one less third party game coming to the system so I hope Ubisoft would have something else they can port to the machine but somehow I doubt that would happen.
