@JRJalapeno sadly I moved away to college and when I came home my two dreamcast, Saturn, n64, snes, nes had found a new home at the local value village.
@sixrings Wow, that looks like absolute crap, indeed. Is it a mobile port, or what?
@JRJalapeno Well, I don't know which arcade racers you already own, but there's plenty of them available on Switch, and nearly all of them are far better than this piece of crap.
Here's a list of options:
Horizon Chase Turbo
Asphalt 9 Legends
Rise: Race The Future
Virtua Racing
GRIP: Combat Racing
Trailblazers
V-Rally 4
Grid Autosport
Team Sonic Racing
Crash Team Racing: Nitro Fueled
For top down racers, I'd say Mantis Burn Racing is the best, and in case it doesn't necessarily have to be a game with cars, then I'd say the most brilliant and accomplished arcade racer on the Switch is FAST RMX, so that's already a solid recommendation either way. And if you like Jet Ski racers, then you might want to take a look at Riptide GP: Renegade. The original game, which never came to a Nintendo platform, was already quite entertaining, and this new part in the series has only improved upon it.
So, there you go, plenty of choices, I'd say, unless you already own most of them, of course...
EDIT:
Did a quick search through the eShop, and came up with a couple more decent looking titles of racers in various types of vehicles, but all of them arcade type:
Overlanders
Music Racer
Road Redemption
Table Top Racing: World Tour Nitro Edition
Super Street Racer
BlazeRush
Aqua Moto Racing Utopia
Snow Moto Racing Freedom
VSR: Void Space Racing
ATV Drift & Tricks
And if you're into driving games like SpinTires, then you might like MudRunner or Ultra Off-Road Alaska.
Those aren't arcade racers, but fun nonetheless. Well, in my opinion at least.
Personally, I always come across and pause on this one:
Doesn't necessarily look like a standard arcade racer, but somehow, it looks like fun.
Haven't pulled the trigger on it yet, though...
That sucks, I saw this on the eshop yesterday and was thinking about getting. Guess I'll just save my 10 bucks for whenever Sega realizes that they made other systems beside the Genesis and release a Dreamcast collection lol
@JRJalapeno Yeah, it does kind of have that vibe, doesn't it? Also because of the coin collecting and all. The car crashing could have been a bit more visceral or more meaty, far as I'm concerned. It remotely reminded me of Burnout Revenge, but only ever so mildly. I would absolutely LOVE to have Burnout Revenge on the Switch.
It may be an old game, but I still love to play it every now and then. I even installed it on the Xbox One.

@sixrings Here's a list of most (if not all) games that support local wireless: https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch/comments/9tg0fp/updat...
So, as you can see on that list, there's basically only two arcade racers that fit the bill, namely FAST RMX and Mantis Burn Racing, so if you still haven't got both of these, then you might want to consider getting one or both.

@ThanosReXXX Wow, that was really disappointing, I was hoping it was at least like playable, but that was just horrendous... What ever happen to https://www.nicalis.com/games/90ssupergp anywho ?? this is the one that was supposed to be it, seems to be just in limbo still...
@ThanosReXXX Sorry my bad, I was meaning that SuperGP was to be THE successor to Daytona, but here we are nearly 30 years later and still notta, pretty sad state that we still don't have a true successor to one of THE greatest Arcade/console racer's of all time.. And am DL Adrenaline Rush now as it's on sale btw, have had my eye on it for sometime just didn't know for sure if it was a decent arcade racer..Thanks.
