Topic: Snake Pass

I enjoy Snake Pass in 15-20 minute increments. I tend to complete one stage and then give it a rest for a few hours or even days. However, I do keep coming back to it because I know I won't be happy until I at least finish every stage.

Love this game. It's a very unique platformer and it's a lot more challenging than other collectathons usually are. I just beat World 3 and it especially ramped up around that point.

@Nintendoer Eh, no worse than quite a few N64 games and none of those affected me. May be a combination of factors.

I bought it mostly because David Wise composed the soundtrack, but the game itself is so fun. It feels like something Rare would have made during the N64-era, if that makes sense.

The graphics in handheld mode are odd. Very blurred and dark.

On a TV it looks great. Definitely put it on "easy" mode controls though, is otherwise it gets tedious.

I bought Snake Pass as well and really enjoy playing it. However, I cannot stop noticing lags. When I launch the game and the Sumo company sequence starts, it always lags at the beginning (blue splash) and then returns to normal speed when the first "colour change" occurs to the next "splash". Also when the unreal engine sequence starts it lags as well as at the end of the unreal logo sequence where my switch kind of jumps to the square loading screen rather than fading to black and then fading in the loading square.

Do you guys have this as well in the start sequences (Sumo/Unreal engine logo sequences)? I wonder if my switch is faulty since I would not expect lags when it plays a video sequence!?

The update is live! They fixed the icon as promised.

@JHDK Fixing the icon is GREAT - seriously, I hated the Mk. 2 icon - but what else is in the update? I haven't touched this game in ages, might be worth another go.
