Topic: SD Card only downloads

For some reason, my sd card only downloads some of my games. The others it won't download will say error.

Is your sd card out of space?

Nope, the sd card is brand new. Strangely it downloads better when it's not on rest mode. Some games save and download on there, others don't. Is it because it is not a Nintendo SD card. There are 200 some gigabytes free.

Are you using a young adult account? Maybe the game you're trying to download is rated too mature?

Nope, some are rated E, others teen. I am old enough, I'm 26.

Where did you buy your SD from? I think I've seen reports of people buying fake SD cards with less storage than advertised.

I bought it from eBay. It's a Sandisk ultra.

As for the SD card, I ordered one that is specific for the switch, has Nintendo on it. I hope this one works.

The new sd card I bought worked. This new one was specifically made for the Nintendo Switch. All of the ones I bought from eBay did not work. Thank you for your help.

You don't need a microsd card made just for your Switch @biglittlejake all microsd cards work. The reason your microsd cards didn't work is because they were fake. According to Sandisk the number one maker /seller of microsd cards over 65% of microsd cards sold on Ebay, Amazon, Etsy, Mercari and such places are fake. NEVER EVER buy them from such places 65% are fake. What they do is take a small 8gb or smaller microsd card and use a computer to hack it. This makes the card show up as a 400gb , 128gb or whatever size they want in your Switch and other devices but you really only have a very, very small amount of space on your card.

Edit: Also according to Sandisk over 40% of microsd cards are fake world wide.

If you ever need another microsd card @biglittlejake get it from a respectable store like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, Ect. Ect. and have them price match Amazon as Amazon does have the best price usually.

I will do that. I do have a 140 gigabytes left, hopefully, I won't have to buy one for some time. 20 or more will be for NBA 2K20, and I do want to see how Spyro on the Switch looks. Besides those, I am trying to buy a physical copy if possible.
