I don't have a switch but one of the main reasons I hate portable gaming is that on DS, 3DS, PSP, GBA is that you can barely see your screen when outside in the sunlight.
Cell phones seem to be better about this but even they are harder to see in the sunlight.
I have given up entirely on trying to play my 3DS outside, I can't take it to the pool when the kids swim because I can't see the screen even in the shade. I have to read a book or play on my phone instead.
So how does the Switch screen perform in sunlight? Better than 3DS? As good as a cell phone?
@BezBot So definitley easier to see than the 3DS sounds like, cool. I don't go in the pool with it but sit at a table.....I did jump in the pool once to save a kid with my phone in my pocket once though so there is definitely some risk.
@blaisedinsd Yeah it's better than 3ds and I compared it to my phone, and both on full brightness it looks the same. I don't know why the 3ds looks so bad, maybe because of the different touch screens and stuff, but it should work as well as a phone does
