Bought it yesterday, and the week 1 patch can't come soon enough. Framerate cries atm on my switch whenever there's heavy explosions or actions. Can't seem to get any stable 30 fps anywhere.
Played the opening mission. I love the look of it on the handheld. Struggling a bit with the shooting, although in the main I've been able to line up some decent headshots and keep the hordes of enemies at bay.
I definitely prefer this type of gunplay to the auto aim pop and shoot GTA style. I didn't mind that, but I couldn't finish Red dead 2 because it just got old in the end.
Turns out not. This game is utter trash. It's pretty much an embarrassment on this platform; jittery, full of bugs, terrible gunplay and boring with it.
Plus it's rather hard to see what's going on on-screen much of the time, so the urge is to stick it on the dock, where it's pretty much a dog's breakfast, in terms of performance.
We'll see what the incoming patch does for the game later this week.

Hmm I had no idea this performed so badly on consoles (Played on PC before)... well I'll keep that in mind when I pick it up. That being said I only plan on playing this in handheld (can play on PC if I want it on the tv) so not as bad as it could be I suppose.

Has anyone else got an issue where their stats (in the extras menu, bottom right of your phone) don't update?
Mine seems to have froze at 2 hours 45 minutes - no stats are going up as I play.
I'll answer my own question! (In case it'll help anyone else.)
Apparently if you use anything from the built in cheat mode, it freezes your stats, even if you turn off the cheat.
I was struggling early doors with Apocalypse Genki, so tried a cheat to see how they worked, before switching the cheat off again before continuing. Not realising the game would disable the stats - and autosave(?) from then on, even though you have no cheats selected.
Hey everyone! Sorry for digging up an old thread. Thinking of getting this cos it's only about £10 on russian eshop. However when I go on that site to check price difference between regions I get a message saying the content can be slightly between regions. Does anyone know of any difference if any between our version and the russian? Tried to google it but can't see anything.
@Clyde_Radcliffe - I didn't play it pre-patch, but had a blast with the patched version, one of my favourite Switch games actually.
There is a little slowdown in places but I can't say it ever bothered me. It may not be as good looking as other versions but it was good enough for me.
I'd happily recommend it, but you may have different levels of what you'll accept!

Thank you! I'm not too much of a graphics whore as long as it doesn't massively affect the gameplay and decided to purchase it. Looking forward to playing it once I've got through my backlog.
@Clyde_Radcliffe - one small tip, always save game before you do anything in your crib like access inventory.
The crib(s) is the one place where I crashed regularly.
