Apparently this release is Switch exclusive and won't be releasing on Xbox One and PS4 lol. (Although I hear that it's backwards compatible with Xbox One so that doesn't entirely mean much)
Metroid, Xenoblade, EarthBound shill
I run a YouTube/Twitch channel for fun. Check me out if you want to!
Please let me know before you send me a FC request, thanks.
Interesting the game isnt being remastered for PS4/X1. X1 has them BC, so I guess that leaves PS4 as the only current gen system you wont be able to play this game on.
Switch is fulfilling its potential as the long-coveted #PS3portable

Cool. I prefer this series to GTA. It's dumber and less ambitious, but more fun.
Completely agreed. I like the GTA games for the most part, but i have had much more fun playing Saints Row. The second game in particular was absolutely fantastic.
Can't even be disappointed to give money to these guys instead of Rockstar. That's just how the game go.
I never played the first two, but the third one was some real fun.
If you think I sound a fool here, oh boy.
You should hear me on Spotify or Apple Music.
I've played SR2, 3, and 4, and SR3 is a good choice to bring over. Despite having a rather bland and boring city and weak story compared to SR2 and other open world games, it struck a good balance between being at least somewhat realistic while still having enough random craziness to be loads of fun. Not to mention that the game engine and controls were MASSIVELY improved over the clunkiness of SR2.
SR4 was originally conceived as an expansion pack for SR3 (and should have stayed that way), having to play through that bland city AGAIN was a big letdown, even with the awesome superpowers.
I usually detest criminal sims but saints row makes you a loud mouth antiheroine so works for me.

While SR1 was little more then a GTA3 clone, SR2 managed to step out of the shadows of it's origin. And from what I played of it, SR3 stepped even further away from the series origin to embrace the silliness that SR2 had introduced.
Nothing says "fun" like taking an oversized purple phallus and decimating your enemies with it.

I wasn't paying attention to this release, because the game has been on sale several times for Xbox 360, never bought it, and I own the first game but left it unfinished because back then I started to develop a condition called backlog. Never bought Saints Row 2 either. But now, seeing it will have a price right for what it is, a port of an arguably old game -many publishers should learn from it, starting with Nintendo itself-, and thinking about how much I like GTA series -and anything that resembles it-, I'm getting excited and I'll definitely buy it for 20 something euros -thanks to a coupon code for my usual store-, because playing a kind-of GTA when I commute has to be great.
It hasn't had much coverage here in NL, only an article which was misleading, because it focused on the couple unnecessary and game breaking DLCs which wouldn't be included in the so-called "The Full Package", when this full package didn't include them on Xbox 360 or PS3 either.
