Topic: New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe

Comicbook.com (the same guys that said that Mario+Rabbids kingdom Battle was a thing) has said that New Super Mario Bros U and New Super Luigi U will be coming to the Switch along with some new content. Final name is tentative but it could have Deluxe in the end like Super Mario Bros Deluxe on the Game Boy Color.

Can we have Mario 3D World and Mario Maker on Switch next?

That's cool. I'm not really into the "New" Mario games, but I'd get this when the price drops.

It's a really poor choice for a port, I think. I feel the Switch deserves its own new entry. Considering the franchise and the flak its gotten, I don't know if porting the most recent one is something I'd care for.

But, if it's true, at least it means absolutely everything else might as well come over too. Don't wanna hear any excuses as to why 3D World, the HD Zelda remakes, or Xenoblade can't make it over, because they all deserve a re release if an NSMB game does lol

Eh.. That'd be very disappointing IMO. I want a new 2D installment, not a port of an old one.

I bet that they're getting this outta the way so Mario Maker can come soon after. If Mario and Luigi U comes at the end of the year then Mario Maker can come sooner.

@1UP_Mario Don't see too much of a point for another New Super Mario title when Mario Maker exists, unless they completely change the game.

Or at least the first and the last+Luigi.

The first game is still rather unique, while Wii, 2, and U kinda started blending together.

Yeah, the original had some pretty neat boss fights. I think the others all used the Koopalings.

@Captain_Toad I would love it they completely changed the game and the mechanics along the power ups. And not have NEW in the title.

I have played all 5 of these to completion and I would 100% grab a collection of them again. These are the sort of games that I leave on my console forever and complete them over a year's time. Finish one game, play a few hours of SMB, finish the next game, play a few hours of SMB.... PLEASE bring them out as a giant collection

The overwhelming number of Super Mario Maker trash levels are no match for Nintendo's quality work.
