Topic: Right joycon sr and sl buttons not working and green lights dont flash when detached from handheld

So recently I got this problem
My right joycon’s sl and sr buttons dont work
When the joycons disconnect from handheld the 4 green lights wont appear
I noticed this problem while i was playing just dance 4 days ago
At first it seemed fine but the next day while i tried playing arms with the switch grip i noticed that the lights were off
Im trying to look for solutions before k get it fixed and since im not from the us
I dont think i can ask nintendo for help on this one
(I ONLY HAVE MY SWITCH FOR 361 days which isnt even a full year yet i’m quote disappointed)

Well if this is a hardware issue then you either talk to where you bought it to get them replaced or if you have extended warranty it gets replaced for free and or contact Nintendo Support about your controller issues to get it fixed before warranty period is past. That is your choices here. And did you do a update controller with NS 5.0 release?

Hi yes I updated my joycons (both l and r) with the recent 5.0 update@SwitchForce

I'd contact Nintendo as they will repair equipment for free if its still under warranty. If you imported it then you might be out of luck but it's still worth a try.

I just sent my joycon off for repair and if it's the one that came with the Switch then they ask for the Switch serial number. Mine was under warranty still but if it wasn't I could have just given the serial number of my sons Switch, as there doesn't seem to be anything tying them to the system (other than colour).
