A terrific series of platformers. It's unfortunate that Ubisoft has been content with simply porting Legends to new platforms over and over again for the past seven years. All the newer Rayman games have been strictly android/iOS affairs. And the developer, Ubisoft Montpellier, works mostly on non-Rayman Ubisoft properties these days.

Hands down my number one game for..... I was not expecting this!!!!!

Simply one of the best platformers I've ever played.

Simply a joy to play!

@Magician I get the feeling a new Rayman will appear once Beyond Good and Evil 2 is finally released.

Considering how many studios Ubisoft owns it's weird that not a single one has been busy working on a new Rayman game. Legends is awesome but I also liked Rayman 2 aka Rayman 3D.

I usually go with Rayman but Mario Rayman on my first playthrough because...I mean why not? After that I tended to switch between a bunch of character, but usually sticking with versions of Rayman or Barbara.

I do think Rayman is a legit awesome series that doesn't quite get the respect it deserves. I'd probably put it next to Kirby for fantastic platforming series that are popular but people usually don't talk about them as "great video games". Even though they kind of are. I'm a fan of borderline every platformer in the series (I even had the GBC game back in the day!) And Rayman Legends in particular was absolutely the highlight of the entire Wii U era, I refuse to believe otherwise. Not only was it the best of those 4 player co-op platformers (both in terms of using co-op and as a game in general), but it had the best use of the Wii U gamepad by far. That was the peak of that entire console. and in a better world, it would've helped Wii U sales with how well it demonstrated what could be done with it.

So I do hope we get a new one eventually. I'm more than ready for a new 3D Rayman. Though with that in mind, I also need to give Rayman 2 another chance, the main game I never got far in. Last time I played it, not joking, was the TERRIBLE DS version, so I should play a better version next time...

I would be happy if Rayman Origins got a Switch port, too. It's my favorite next to 2/Revolution. And Fiesta Run is surprisingly good for a one dollar phone game.

Weird how there haven't been any new mainline games lately.

I mean, its probably mostly because the creator of the series has been working on something else. (two games technically, though one of them seems abandoned by this point...)

And unfortunately Rayman isn't so popular that Ubisoft has felt a need to put different people on it. (they did for 3, since 2 was a huge hit back in the day...)

A really under rated game for sure! I love it. In fact,. I need to fire it up again.

Origins and legends are awesome, better than any of the New Super Mario bros games.

Had a great time with Rayman Origins and Legends. Though I played the Vita version of Legends and wasn't a big fan of the Murphy levels with touch controls.

As a kid I played some of the PSX version of Rayman 2 but never got very far.
Also played some Rayman Advance, but never beat it either.

The rhythm action levels in legends were the best

I played the original Rayman on the 3DS, wich wasn't ideal (but still fun). Never finished it though. Rayman Origins and Legends where fantastic though. I finished them both, minus some collectables. I might do that someday. I only played a very small portion of Rayman 2 on the N64. Terrible camera. They really should do a Rayman 2 and 3 remastered double pack on the Switch someday. Updated graphics, better camera, and the Globox village (that seems to have been scrapped from most versions). Why not, all those remasters sell like hotcakes!
