The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
For some reason I got very motion sick playing this game, and if that was not enough, I was board out of my mind with the tutorial.
And for that matter, almost any other Zelda game where there was an overly long hand holding overt tutorial.
However, I really enjoyed all the Zelda's on the NES, SNES, GameBoy and now, Breath of the Wild. But almost everything else in between I just could not get into. So basically anything after Link's Awakening and before Breath of the Wild. However, I do need to try A Link Between World, because I think I might like that one.

Most Mario games after the NES. And even those 3, when I go back and play them years later, I find that I really only enjoy playing Mario Bros 2 in short sessions.

And, of course, Minecraft. I think it is just way, way to open ended for me. My son use to play that game like crazy. My daughter still likes it. So I keep buying it on every system I own. Maybe someday I will enjoy playing. However, I do wish that I would have forced myself to play it more with him. But that was another game that got me motion sick. So I am sure that had something to do with me not liking it too.

Smash Bros Series, Pokemon series, Fire Emblem series, Animal Crossing, and Arms I tryed it out in the last global testpunch while it was an ok game. I just don't see me purchasing it for full retail price because it doesn't have any lasting appeal to me.

Kirby: Star Allies: Looks incredibly dull after the creative Planet Robobot. Definitely not worth $60 to me.

Fast RMX: It's not a bad game, but I must just suck at it, because I'm constantly crashing. It feels like you need to have the tracks memorized in order to do well.

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth: Tried this on PC and Vita, and I've just never been able to get into it.

Paper Mario N64: I just couldn't get into it. Played a couple of hours and was bored to tears.

Super Mario 64: I don't think it has aged very well. Very unpleasant to play today, and I don't have the benefit of nostalgic feelings for it. The feel of the movement, the level design, and the in-game camera are all atrocious.

The Last of Us: Standard post-apoc horror story with slow, uninteresting gameplay. I don't get the enthusiasm.

Bloodborne: Probably played halfway through before dropping it. It's easy to get lost, and it feels like all you do is run around and kill monsters. Almost no explicit narrative, disappointing technical performance on the vanilla PS4... yup, I don't get it.

God of War: For some reason, people are massively excited about this, and I just couldn't be less interested. It looks boring.

@Hikingguy Twilight Princess gets pretty good later on, but yeah, the first five or so hours are atrociously boring.

Animal Crossing- I find the gameplay tedious and therefore boring.

Minecraft- I guess mostly because I'm not that creative. However, I'm not opposed to crafting elements in other games such as the game, "Don't Starve".

Platform games in general- There are few exceptions such as the Super Mario Bros series but I generally find the more frustrating than fun.

A lot. Essentially every competitive multiplayer game, most of the open world genre, and any game that makes it its buisness to rub your nose in how difficult it is.

I think Smash, Halo, and TCGs (which aren't even video games necessarily) are the only exceptions. I really liked the sticky grenade and vehicle mechanics, but even that staled with Reach and 4 as the series moved toward other multiplayer FPS and started cutting corners. Moreover, all of those were splitscreen experiences in large part, which shifts the emphasis from competition to something like a social game's appeal.

Don't hate me because I'm bnahabulous.

Star Fox. I've never really been able to get into any of the games in the series except for Star Fox Adventures, but that was more like a Kingdom Hearts game (with exploration on planets then the space shooter while traveling between locations). They're usually a bit of fun for the first level but after that I find they don't do enough to change up the gameplay and keep it interesting.

Other than that I'd say most realistic sports games, like FIFA, Madden, NBA, and WWE.

Duh... Soccer is the Worst sport for me. Boring & Lamest sport ever.

2. Splatoon games
Never like any shooting games, even Cartoonish like Splatoon. My heart is keep saying "No !"

3. AOV & Mobile Legends
What the heck was that game ?! I don't even see any interesting parts. Lamest games ever.

4. Any realistic Racing games
What is so interesting by driving with realistic car without bumping each others ? Not difference with driving Real car and for me it's sooo boring !

5. Marvel Heroes games
Their looking are sooooo Horrible ! Not even gorgeous, but Horrendeous ! Never like Western Super heroes like that.

Call of Duty series - don't think I've ever even played one. The fact I'm not sure isn't a good sign. Played some Medal of Honour in the PS2 era, though, so I tend to get the series confused. That said, I'm still not interested. You can throw Halo in there, too. Played quite a bit of the first one, really didn't love it. It's not as if I dislike the FPS genre, either - Bioshock is amazing; Doom is seminal.

Grand Theft Auto series. Don't get me wrong, I think these are fantastic games, possibly the best sandbox series of all time. However, I got GTA3 when it came out, played it to death and had a ball. A year later, Vice City came out, bigger and better; I played it to death and had a ball. Two years later, San Andreas came out, even bigger, even better and ... I ran out of steam about halfway through. I don't need to play any more GTAs. Ever. (I'd take Red Dead Redemption on Switch, though.)

I'll try and keep my answers to "games that almost everyone enjoys that I don't, but also don't necessarily find overrated just because I don't like it"

First one being the Elder Scrolls games. Moorowind and Skyrim both seem like games I should absolutely love, and yet I can't get into either of them deep enough to get invested. I would never say they're overrated, though.

Zelda. That said, I did enjoy BotW a lot, but I don't really like Zelda much as a whole personally. Pretty much my favorite Zelda games are the ones that aren't so ingrained in the "Zelda definition", being Zelda II on NES and BotW (though BotW is literally Zelda 1 on NES supercharged, so...).

Minecraft or Terraria are by biggest choices though. They're far too aimless with nothing much to do aside from just "creating your own story" doing whatever. Even BotW gave you an objective.

Star Fox, even for someone that values replayability, I don't like these games all too much because they don't feel all that deep to me. Kid Icarus: Uprising and the 3DS Ace Combat game avert that with a ton more customization options in your setups.

Mega Man is very meh to me since I'm not as much of a fan of "run 'n gun" as much as melee weapons. Castlevania is what I'd go for instead for my challenge fix.

Don't like FPS games much, so pretty much all of them except Metroid Prime and Doom are booted out.

Hard pass on RTS games. Not a fan of that genre at all. Does Pikmin count in that genre? Probably not, but I was never a huge fan of Pikmin either for some reason.

For the games I really don't like that are popular, though, Sonic 1, 2, and 3 & Knuckles. I don't know why since I do like Sonic, but those three games I just can't get behind. Strangely enough, CD is my favorite 2D Sonic game. Mania is also great. It's just that I really don't like the original Sonic games for some strange reason.

Whilst I've never actually tried them, Western RPGs have never appealed to me (although have Skyrim on Switch but yet to play it). Not only is high fantasy probably the least interesting setting for me but I don't enjoy games where I create my own character as the story I feel will always suffer. Also, I enjoy story driven games but as a witness to the characters' journey. I don't enjoy making my own story. If that was the case I'd write books not read them.

Also, Survival Horror; fear and suspense are not enjoyable feelings for me so why play them?

Any multiplayer-centric games like Overwatch, Fortnite, etc as I play games with an ending to aim for. I find multiplayer games as a game without and end until you get bored and that kinda sullies the whole experience. Plus its repetitive.

And just to make a dig at it, any game in The Last of Us series; as the female MC is my biggest supporting argument for justifiable homicide. Although I did "finish" the game (if you can call it one), my headcanon is that I walked out of THAT room and let them get on with their job.

Bayonetta, Binding of Isaac, Arms, Call of duty, Fallout, Fifa, Shantae, Metroid, The last of us, Life is strange, most Zelda games (not all but most of them), Final fantasy, Resident evil, most sport games in general (expecially team based ones), multiplayer focused games (except when single player mode is enjoyable enough), Shenmue, wrestling games, anything Star wars related (I never liked Star wars), anything Marvel related (same as Star wars), anything made by Bioware, newer Need for speed games (I like the old ones for PS1), Pokemon, Guilty gear, Blazblue, Minecraft... OMG they are so much I could go on forever!!!
...Dawn of sorrow and Portrait of ruin, I really don't know how people can say they are as good as Symphony of the night and Aria of sorrow...
Sonic 2, I like Sonic a lot but imho Sonic 2 is really ugly...
Edit: Bioshock!!!!!!!

Celeste and Shovel Knight. I might feel differently if I actually played them, but I've watched reviews and lets plays and I can't get excited.

Call of Duty

I vaguely enjoy playing most FPS games, though more story-driven adventure games like Bioshock and Half-life are preferable, but I can't for the life of me understand how you could like something like this so much that you want yearly installments of it.
I want yearly installments of almost nothing.

It's dangerous to go alone! Stay at home.

Pokemon all the way. And whenever I say this people say I'm wrong. I played the original and I could see the appeal but didn't like the grinding or how battles work. My most recent plunge into the series was Moon, and I absolutely hated it. The story was very bland, gameplay was boring, and you had to grind to get anywhere in the game. Which is why I am not looking forward to Pokemon Switch and I'll most likely pass, unless I fall for the great reviews once again and end up regretting my purchase.

As for the games mentioned, I love ARMS and it is fighting with BotW being my favorite Switch game (currently it's BotW as I have 20 more hours on that game). Celeste to me looks average and Shovel Knight I enjoy sometimes but I still think it's overrated. I bought Binding of Isacc on my Switch and have only played in a few times, but it feels cheap to me and lacks depth.

I also really don't like Stardew Valley, from it's graphics to gameplay it just isn't a fun time. I'm glad I had a demo to try Fire Emblem (along with the mobile game) because it is extremely overrated (probably thanks to Smash having like 6 different characters from the series).

@BezBot I'll disagree about grind in Pokemon, at least for the main game. X/Y and Sun/Moon practically killed grind with the Exp Share. But if you somehow still find that too grindy, then avoid Pokemon period because there's nothing they'll ever do to change your mind short of a complete battle system overhaul considering they've already eliminated grind in the main game. You have a point during postgame though.

Binding of Isaac. Liked the art style and kinda like the gameplay (however hate how slow the guy shoot), however I don´t get why is so popular. Sold if after 4-5 days.
