What games aren't you interested in despite their popularity? I mean on Switch, but if you want we can make it a multisystem thread.
For me it's ARMS and Isaac Afterbirth.
I tried ARMS in a Testpunch and I saw two things: I found it difficult to control and people was already very good at it, even on that public demo, so I decided right then it wasn't a game for me.
Isaac Afterbirth I haven't tried, but its genre doesn't appeal to me.
I’ve never been into Undertale, I have friends that are obsessed with it and think it’s the best game of all time, and here I am looking at it thinking “Really?” Admittedly I haven’t played though the game myself, but nothing I’ve seen has really pulled me to do so. I will say I LOVE the soundtrack, one of the friends I mentioned made me listen to some of the songs and if I ever try out Undertale, it’ll because I want to hear those songs in the context of the game. Maybe I’ll try the Switch version when it comes out, who knows?
Massively controversial, but I have absolutley no interest in Splatoon
Me neither. I have the original on WiiU and it's still sealed. ARMs is another I don't care about. And MineCraft. My son has played MineCraft for years and I still don't see the fascination with it.
Splatoon. The character designs are just so atrocious to look at, I can't get past it. I know that's shallow, but they really are that bad for me. lol
Metroid Prime. I tried the original Metroid Prime. It's a fine game I'm sure, but it just isn't for me.
Fire Emblem. I tried Awakening, but just couldn't really get into the style of gameplay.
ARMS doesn't really interest me, either. Nor does the new Kirby. I tried the demo for Kirby. I felt like it was just the same old, same old. 2D platformers just don't do much for me anymore, I suppose.
This blue eye perceives all things conjoined. The past, the future, and the present. Everything flows and all is connected. This eye is not merely seen reality. It is touching the truth. Open the eye of truth... There is nothing to fear.

I like the whole aesthetic of Splatoon, I've just been put off by the multiplayer focus. This upcoming single player expansion is very interesting though.
As for Kirby, I still really like 2D platformers but the demo was very poor IMHO. The reviews make it seem really bland as well. My issue with it is that there are so many good 2D platformers on Switch. Why would I bother with something as uninspired as Kirby when I can play Steamworld Dig 2, Sonic Mania, Celeste, Shovel Knight, Rayman etc.
@electrolite77 I found the same thing with Splatoon 2. I like the art style and concept but I’m not an online gamer especially as my WiFi connection usually can’t sustain more than 1/2 rounds before it drops. Hope the expansion adds to the game as I’m reluctant to sell it.
For me it’s most Mario games apart from super Mario odyssey which for some reason I found really enjoyable. I think it was the capture ability and the openness of the exploration.
Not interested in fighting games such as smash either
Halo has always been one of those series for me - not that they're 'bad' games - I just find them a bit 'sterile'...
As an 'N64 kid' when I was younger, Perfect Dark was my baby - it had an incredible story (which could be played co-operatively), wonderful characters (from aliens to a kick-ass female protagonist!), great multiplayer (with a broad selection of modes and challenges...and bots!), awesome weapons (the likes of the Laptop Gun and Farsight were fantastically original) - it just set the benchmark incredibly high!
When I first played Halo, on my cousins Xbox, I had fun playing through the campaign with him - and the expansive worlds, mid-level checkpoints and use of vehicles all made for neat touches - but it still felt a bit 'flat' compared to Perfect Dark. The characters were generic, the weapons were uninspired, the story was lacking - and I didn't enjoy the multiplayer as much. I enjoyed my time with it largely because of who I was playing it with - but it was never something that I felt compelled to buy and play solo...I gave the series a second chance when I saw Halo 3 in a bargain bin once, but quickly fell out of playing it - it just wasn't striking the right chords at all.
I know that it's much loved as a series - and has a loyal and loving fanbase...but, even as a fan of first-person shooters, it never hooked me - and I've basically given up on the series at this point.
Animal Crossing and Mega Man. I understand the appeal of AC to many but after spending around 30 hours trying to get into Wild Woods I can't say I actually enjoyed anything about it, it's just not for me I suppose.
Mega Man I want to like and believe me I've tried many times with multiple games from the series .I love its style and music but I just don't find it to be much fun to play and I say that as a huge retro gamer and fan of action platformers. If I'm being completely honest ,I regard it as one of the most overrated series in the history of gaming.
