Ah that makes sense yes, to get the event in SwSh you’d have to close Let’s Go.

My hunts would take anywhere from a few hours to a few days.

I finally finished my let's go living dex

@Kermit1 congrats! I have one in Home but some of the Pokémon come from Go. I should go back and replace them with Let’s Go ones.

@Eel I might do a national dex (in home)... I just need to get the mythical's somehow

@Kermit1 you can currently get a good amount of them on the switch. With Mew and Jirachi in BDSP, Keldeo in the Crown Thundra, and Manaphy, Shaymin, Darkrai and Arceus in Legends Arceus (and BDSP with the events there, but Arceus is the only one you can trigger yourself).

For Meltan and Melmetal you’ll need Pokémon Go, but they’re pretty easy to get, all things considered.

If you have a 3DS you can catch Celebi in Pokémon Crystal, and Deoxys in Pokémon ORAS. Magearna can be easily obtained in Sun/Moon/Ultra by scanning a QR code, too.

Though that does leave a few that are still event-only. Particularly Volcanio, which seems to be like, the least distributed of the bunch.
