Topic: Point-and-Click Your Switch

I'm seeing quite a few point-and-click adventure games showing up on the Switch, so I'd like to dive into this genre. What are your favorite ones currently available in the eShop? I already own Bulb Boy, Grim Fandango, Stick It To The Man (on WII U), and Flipping Death. Are there any other essential titles I should check out? Mostly interested in comedy, but if there are good horror-themed point-and-clicks, I'd love to give those a shot as well.
Cheers!

I’ve enjoyed Earthworms, it’s got a unique vibe and it offers touch screen play, too.
I also played MechaNika, but it’s pretty short and doesn’t really offer any replay value.
Violett is okay, but it can be stale at times. If you liked the Spiderwick Chronicles movie/book you may enjoy it more, similar feeling environments sometimes.

Hmm, I'll have to add Earthworms to the wishlist. I see it go on sale often, so I'll snag it when it does again. I played the demo, but I wasn't sure how much longer it would be. Is there a fair amount of playtime?

I tried the Violett demo, and the hit detection issues turned me off. A shame because it looks nice, if only they would have polished it a bit more.

I've seen mixed reviews on Broken Age. Could that just be chalked up to jaded gamers expecting something it isn't?

I'm hoping Paradigm finds its way to the Switch. What I've seen from YouTube videos looked super amusing.

Also, the Inner World looks interesting. Any word on that title?

@onex Yep, I grabbed Earthworms on sale and it is quite a bit longer. Still haven’t finished it, actually.
I think I got Violett for around a dollar, so yeh. I got what I paid for. 😂
I’ve also got Broken Age and have enjoyed it so far. It’s like Monkey Island. I’m not sure what the mixed reviews are on about, but it was recommended to me by like 5 people on here.

@JackEatsSparrows Cool, I'll keep an eye on Earthworms again, and Broken Age! I just snagged The Inner World since there were a few gold coins in my acct plus a prepaid card I had lying around with $4. 😅

@HeroicTako Forgot I had it because it's on a defunct laptop, but Machinarium is excellent! I had Botanicula as well, another delightful little game! Probably won't double dip, but they were good fun.

Bertram Fiddle is on Switch. Unfortunately it’s an episodic game and only two episodes are available so far. I’ve only played episode one and it was pretty good but I don’t know if it’s worth it to buy every episode for $10 or whatever it is.

The Sexy Brutale is not a traditional point and click but you may enjoy it.

Can you actually point and click, using the touch screen that is?
