If you are into turn based RPG games then perhaps you should check out this game. I downloaded it today for £1!! I’ve honestly paid £50 for worse games before now.

The first 20 minutes are a bit slow but after that is good fun. I only put it down when my battery ran out and I wasn’t even planning to play anything.

Anyone else got this yet? Just thought I’d draw attention to a bargain. These games sometimes get lost on the eshop.

Waiting for the Physical version.

I gave up buying physical when I bought the switch. Digital is far from perfect but it is convenient especially on a hybrid console. I can understand the desire for physical though, I miss the display cases. Don’t care about resale value as I’ve never sold a game yet @SwitchForce

@Bevinator there is another reason is that for digital you need more storage space as oppose to just updates only.

Fair enough @SwitchForce

Not saying Digital is bad but each will have a up and down to it. Digital is just that Space is the enemy of Digital download. And MicroSD is coming down in price but 400gb is around still around close to $150 for it. It's down a bit but that still expensive for others. I got mine during those early discounts because my 200gb went down to 88gb and that forced my hand before I was ready. But if the Digital users only buy a few and doesn't kill all their MicroSD space they will be ok but eventually updates will eat storage space and start to add up.

This game is 1.00€ on the eShop sale. If there was a retail version wouldn't it be around 24.99€ - 39.99€? Digital games that are so cheap usually don't get a retail release. You really prefer to wait for something that is unlikely to happen? Yeah, I prefer physical too, but I will make exceptions for games that I want, especially when they're just one buck.

@SKTTR I always wonder when I talked about storage space overtime and it's cost someone would talk about game price. If you just use the 32gig that comes with the Switch you will run out really fast in space.

I know exactly what you mean, I paid 22,99€ for Lumo, 24,99€ for SteamWorld Dig 2, and 24,99€ for Vostok Inc. physical, even though they are indie games that were much cheaper on an eShop sale, and one of my secondary reasons is microSD-card space as well. Why wasting that memory if you can have the game physical and save that space for other things? Like download-only games, updates, and DLC.

But in the case of this game, I can only see it work as a part of an "Arcade Distillery" compilation that also has the other games from the studio, Mecho Tales (also 1,00€ on sale) and Kitten Squad (free) and whatever else they have, on it. A standalone release for a single-dollar game would be really odd.

On a related note I just bought mecho tales (from the same developer as plague road). It’s also a good game and only cost 88 pence lol. Good value. Especially if you like 2d side scrolling platformers/shooters.
