I think it was supposed to be released yesterday. Is there any news on when it will be released?

Yes, and worst of all is there hasn't been any explanation, nor any announcement. This sucks.

If you care to follow some relatively simple steps, you can get it from the Japanese eShop. The Japanese version includes an English option. I learned how to get it yesterday, because I'm too impatient for another NA delay.

@Rockman55 I did create a Japanese account but I was blocked at the last stage of purchase. I also tried to do the same for Two Crude Dudes on the US side of things. Basically when you create a US account and try to purchase through the console or the website you get an error message.

A guy with SEGA announced that they'll be giving a release date soon. It's still scheduled to release in the West, but the delays are extremely disappointing.

Yeah, the last step is the most annoying. I ended up using PayPal to get a 1000 yen JP eshop code from Play-Asia. It costs $12.99, so I paid a slight premium to get the game early (I think the NA release will be $9.99).

Phantasy Star is coming not only to the West, but on the Switch?!? This is news to me!

Hm 93 pesos is not bad at all. Let's hope they use the same price.

I mean to be fair, Phantasy Star Online 2's release has been delayed for 6 years, so it could be worse.

That is a rather lengthy delay considering it already has a English option on the Japanese release.

Phantasy Star is on the Coming Soon section of the eShop now, so it's not too far away. Can't remember what the date was, but it's a great 8-bit JRPG.

Actually the entire tetralogy deserves these great M2 ports for the Switch. It's literally the reason I am having so much fun these days.
