Topic: Payday 2 (Switch)

A thread to talk about all things Payday 2 related!

Just got the game, saw really no threads for it so I made one, will maybe voice any problems I have with the game.
If anyone else got the game and wants to play some online, I would be willing to play, just add mii and let mii know when you want to play.

I got the game, but I'm only going to play it in single player.

I did check it out and try the first heist but I screwed it up. Some dude saw the body while I was grabbing the body bag and then I tried to kill him and I did kill him but when I was trying to go for his pager the alarms went off.

Looks pretty good though and seemed to run OK. Could definitely feel the HD rumble.

I pre-ordered this game back in January but canceled it over a week ago. I thought it had split-screen, so once I found out it didn't I cancelled. It's also tons of updates behind the PC version at the moment so at full price, I decided to save my money for better games. I'll probably pick this one up later on for $30 or less to at least have fun with the single player mode.

Looking forward to checking this out as it just came out today in Canada.

Got the game but haven't really played it yet. Did the tutorial stuff, it seems pretty cool so far. If anyone ever wants to play add me.

It is still a great game, just wish the Nintendo switch analogs had more of a turn radius cant be precise. Also sometimes when you try to connect to some heist it will have you joining forever so you have to start the game over and try again.

Got this game today and have already put it up for sale.

I was really excited about it, as I never got to play the game the first time around, and I think it just sounded really good fun and very original.

However, whilst I don't dislike it like I did other Switch games I've sold like The Binding Of Isaac and Has Been Heroes, for some reason I just can't get into it.

Maybe if I didn't have so many other games that I want to put my precious gaming time into, I might enjoy it more. Or perhaps if I'd just picked it up for a tenner or something.

I don't know, I know I love the idea, but for whatever reason I just can't seem to fully enjoy the execution of it.

Sort of game that if I keep it, it'll just sit there, never played until I have a clear out and its sold, by which time it'll be worth less.

i wanted to get it but with no voice chat i think im just going to stick to pc this game is too reliable on communication idk how nintendo can have no voice chat bringing games like this to the table

You guys been playing this? I bought this a few days after release, been pretty much playing non stop (adult gamer, was laid off for the winter, so lots of time to play. Going back to work in a few days). This is the first Payday game I’ve ever played, enjoying it very much. I barely did any online while getting to level 100, but have been doing more online recently, at level I-95 right now. It’s probably not too big of a deal for some people, but I beat Hoxton Breakout on death wish last night with AI players. I was pretty happy about that. Before I bought the Switch, PS2 was the last system I bought and played. So anyway, yeah.
