Topic: our switch was stolen. trying to redownload games but there are problems

Please help. i am trying to re-download Minecraft Nintendo Switch Edition but it says it is no longer available for download. Does that go for people who bought it 6 months ago? Our switch was stolen from our house and my kids are bummed. Got them a new Switch but now we are trying to get some games i bought back.

Have you unlinked your account from the stolen switch and tied it to the new one?

You need to contact Nintendo support about this. NL can't help with downloads and if stolen they can block or find whom has your Switch since it is registered with Nintendo.

@loveless770 Like @SwitchForce said, you need to contact Nintendo directly and tell them your original Switch was stolen make sure they understand that so they can disconnect your account from it. If you had any saved financial information or money on the account, you want to do this like yesterday.

Then once that's taken care of, you can connect to a new Switch and redownload any game your previously had.
