@Zyrac The more frequent Blue Shells were an issue, but the mini-turbo charge helped a little. Mega Mushrooms were fine and POW Blocks were almost completely irrelevant since bikes were immune to them. The second item slot means more in MK8 than MKWii because draggable items in MKWii free up your item slot. I love the double item slot but I do have an issue with how much Red Shells there are as a result. I think the bigger issue is that getting hit in MK8 means much more than in MKWii as there's no chargeable mini-turbo from a standstill and avoiding getting hit is harder.

@Blue_Blur Agreed on more battle tracks. Some MKWii ones would be nice as they were overshadowed by just how bad battle mode was in MKWii and the fact there's no N64 battle tracks seem criminal.

@BigYellow Yes, well, I didn't appreciate the standstill miniturbo making acceleration useless, or POW dodges making karts even worse. And I really do think distance-based item distribution is a big improvement.

Having said all of this, skilled items really should be an option for MK8D races. It was disappointing that they only added it for battles.

You guys talking about blue shells, lightning, etc. Pfft, I only get hit with those, I still haven't gotten either. In first place it's expected, but even in 7th or 8th, I still get single banana's or green shells most of the time, with the occasional red shell and mushroom. I've never gotten a blue shell, lightning, star, etc on the Switch (I have on other consoles).

Mario Kart 8: 1) Removing blue turtle shells from the last lap of the race, or making last lap racers immune to them. It is total garbage to get one right before the finish line from the person in last place. Helps no one using the item at that point. 2) Splatoon racing map!

Zelda: 1: More and or much longer memories. I felt like my reward for finding those hidden spots wasn't always adequately rewarded. 2: Some broken down multi-path castle areas, underground themed dungeon areas where the "puzzle" just lies in figuring out the best path to take based on your cleverness of discovery. 3. More enemy types. 4. Environmental areas on that map that feel more...unique? Basic example, Twilight Princess' Twilight Realm aesthetic.

Super Bomberman R: MORE COLORS. MORE VIBRANT COLORS.

USF2: ANYTHING as free DLC. Pathetic we haven't even received a new character or something.

ARMS: More arenas and characters. Feels a little lite.

LOCAL MULTI-PLAYER for every game should be standard.

@BigYellow I didn't mind the battle mode in MKWii, but I do agree that it could have been improved on. I've always found Coin Runners to be really fun, so that's probably why I was fine with it. XD I love most of the MKWii arenas as well; Funky Stadium is actually my all-time favorite Mario kart battle arena, so I would love to see that one return! And yes, N64 arenas shouldn't be left out, either! Hopefully some will appear in future DLC, if there ever is any.

@Blue_Blur I proly would've loved it if you weren't limited to the standard Kart and Bike, I can imagine 12 Funky Kong + Bowser Bikes just wizzing around dodging everything.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - Navi...obviously!
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - The ability for 3-4 local players to all play online together
Death Squared - 3 player?
Overcooked! - I'd tweak the progression system a little...I'd prefer it to just be that if you pass a level, you unlock the next one - instead of forcing us to go back to levels that we potentially didn't enjoy so much to grind out an extra star here and there. To me, the star system should only really be there to add to the replayability - instead, it feels just a touch like it's locking levels for no good reason...don't get me wrong - it's super fun - I just feel that a less restrictive progression system could help the fun flow a little better

Okay, I'll have to go back on something I said, there IS something ARMS needs, a better tutorial. I'm seeing too many people giving up at level 3 CPU's and abandoning the game and even in Ranked there's so many grab spammers without a clue how to play the game at a decent level. ARMS is a game that gets better the better you get at it. It's currently not the best casual game, but people don't know how to get better.

@Haru17 Nintendo is always very secretive about the developers and producers of their games. I don't know why...

Octane

WarioIsTopTier

@Octane Maybe because the less they talk about it the more clueless people just assume Nintendo made it.

@icebear80 I have a feeling if we get Miiverse it'll be the same day the paid online kicks in.

ALL my games? Er, I'll just do the ones I've sunk proper time into.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild. More story dungeons, sure, but I'd also like a PvP mode, where you battle human modes one on one in the arena with the BotW combat system. Split-screen, local and online, with new playable characters unlocked in game.

Mario Kart 8: Really can't think of anything. Less whinging about the blue shell? Nobody has a right to victory.

USFII: More characters, plus the return of the bonus stages to break up solo play.

Wonder Boy: TDT: Superb game, and doesn't really need more content. Quite happy just to finish it. Love the bonus stages for the charms. Maybe just, you know, don't hide them so much that I need to consult a walkthrough to find them all (ahem).

Shovel Knight TT: Again, can't ask for more content. BUT I'd love a 16-bit graphics mode.

Bomber Man: It's a multi-player game I got to play with my kids. Don't really need more from it.

Blaster Master Zero, Mighty Gunvolt Burst, Splatoon 2 - just give me the time to play them!

BoTw - a gripping story and proper dungeons.
1-2 Switch - it would have been pre installed on every Switch console.
MK8DX - more DLC.
ARMS - more modes.
Splatoon 2 - change the name to Spla2oon.

@G0dlike Definitely agreed on MK8 DX DLC, I want MK8 to keep impressing me, I don't want to see it end.

I really hope they scrap MK9 and keep this title evergreen. I really don't see what they need to do to improve this, other than support it with more cups @BigYellow

@G0dlike Mario Kart 8 DX is nearly perfect honestly, the only issues I have with it mechanically are the extremely tight Out of Bounds system and the strength of items being a bit bananas. I still prefer MKWii, but I can't deny MK8 DX is the better game.
