As much as I'm enjoying the Switch so far, there's on seriously annoying issue I've been running into:
When the Switch is turned off, it seems to periodically wake up to do update checks and, when it does that, it also briefly turns on its HDMI port. I have the switch connected through an HDMI changer along with other consoles and this is causing the changer to automatically change over to the (offline) switch periodically, interrupting whatever else I'm currently doing.
Every other console does offline updates, but none of them turn on their HDMI port when doing so.
I seem to have two options right now:
Take the Switch out of the dock whenever I'm not using it.
Turn off automatic updates.
Actually, disabling updates also does nothing. Literally have to take the switch out of the cradle in order to use any other device without the changer periodically flipping over to the switch for a split second.
I'm having the exact same issue with the Switch. It's connected to an HDMI changer along with my other consoles and it's causing the channels to flip. I'm having to take the Switch out of the dock to stop it from interrupting my other HDMI channels. I think it's cause the Switch won't power off in the dock, only sleep. Pretty annoying.
