The console isn't out yet, so I can't tell you how much it's worth, but I can tell you what Nintendo needs to price it at to be successful.
1. If Nintendo wants to continue as the go to home console for kids, it needs to be 300 dollars or less. Their last 4 systems have done this, and when compared to the other options on the market, it makes their system a strong value proposition to parents.
2. If Nintendo wants to change their game up, then it can be more, but it can't surpass $450 dollars. There has never been a home console that has been successful while being above that price.
3. If it's a handheld, $200 max. Even that is pushing it a little. This device is competing with smartphones and tablets that can do MUCH more, so it's a tough sell for something that could be very situational.

It's just an expectation. Based on the Xbone and PS4 which had successful holidays selling their consoles for $300-$350, on top of the likely chance of the two getting a price cut this year.
I can't see the NX doing well releasing a new console more expensive than the PS4 or Xbox One especially if it's not as powerful as the PS4 like it's rumored to be, that would be suicide. It could get away with it if it was that console/handheld hybrid, but that's a debate for another time. But if we're talking about just consoles, I'd like to think/hope Nintendo is smart enough to release a console reasonably priced to the compete with the other two while sharing the similar power.
I'd personally pay any price. But if there are two parts (handheld and home console), I'd say each should be sold seperately with the handheld for 200€/$ and the home console for 300€/$. However, if you buy both as a bundle, you only pay 400€/$. If it's just a console, it'd be 300€/$.
