I've been one of those guys whose been saying nonstop that the NX needs 3rd party support soooo badly. I'm still worried about the NX but when freaking SQUARE ENIX (huge Japanese developer that I've been wanting to support Nintendo way more) announced Dragon Quest X AND Dragon Quest IX for the NX... I can't help but smile.
The first 2 confirmed games for the NX are 3rd party games... that alone is making me jump for joy.
See, it doesn't even really matter if the NX is a console or a handheld (but I bet its a console due to poor Wii U support lately). As long as that 3rd party support is there then the NX might actually have a chance.
Heck, maybe we'll start seeing more of these awesome bomb drops for NX. Final Fantasy 7 remake for NX, please!

They are essentially confirmed. Announced at the conference, SE is now backpedaling because the NX hasn't been revealed yet. Hard to officially confirm a game for a non-officially confirmed console.

NX is most likely not able to run Dragon Quest XI, if the console uses a slightly enhanced Wii U technology (unless they're able to get Unreal Engine 4 support to NX anyway.)

You do know that Dragon Quest XI is on 3DS too right? They could be upscaling that version.

I thought the first game aanounced for NX was the new Zelda? Or was that Metroid they were saving...?
Zelda is rumoured which despite how mant times it's repeated doesn't make it a fact and there's a quote about if they were to make a new Metroid it would have to be on th NX at this point because it would take years worth of developing.
