Topic: Nvidia tech, will Switch be compatible with GeforceNOW?

I was thinking about all the effort Nvidia has made to create GeForce NOW as a service for the SHIELD family. May it be possible that their intention is to retry to propose the tech with Nintendo's collaboration? It may not be used by many people who don't have a fast internet connection, but it would be great for a lot of games that need more power without the hardware limits of the console, the only thing is that you could only use it at home. Do you think it could be possible?

I wouldn't mind if they kept that functionality and also added streaming to/from a Nvidia PC, but I don't think that will happen.

Maybe. I was thinking that the NX might actually use cloud computing to automatically boost performance and settings while at home, not necessarily to stream games in their entirety. Pie-in-the-sky thinking, mind you.

Don't hate me because I'm bnahabulous.

I don't think so. I think the bigger thing to note is that NVidia's GPUs are pretty good at encoding and decoding video quickly. That's one of the things they tried to push with the Shield. Not very successfully.

What does that mean for the Switch? I don't know. Probably not a game streaming service. But maybe streaming games to Twitch or Facebook. Possibly Netflix at 4K. That sort of thing.

If this thing is capable of GeForce higher end level graphics like Nvidia claims then I dont see why some Nvidia bells and whistles wont happen.
