The Switch has the potential to have the most diverse game library on a console ever. It could appeal to lots and lots of people. Think about it. Being a hybrid console, it'll attract both Nintendo home console and handheld markets. It'll have the latest 3D Mario and Zelda games, plus could also have the biggest handheld franchises like Monster Hunter and Pokemon. There's also some signs that it might be powerful enough to handle multiplats that are on the PS4/Xbone (with all the pledged 3rd party support and what is seemingly Skyrim: Definitive edition shown in the NS reveal trailer). If it has a touch screen, it has the potential to play mobile games as well — when the joy-cons are not attached to the system, it's essentially a tablet. Furthermore, it can even replace the PS Vita, which actually has a dedicated albeit small fanbase and has performed alright in Japan. Like the Vita, it's a handheld boasting the ability to play console quality games on the go..

This could be the console you could play Skyrim, Dark Souls, GTA, Mario, Pokemon, Monster Hunter, Final Fantasy XII HD, Five Nights at Freddy's, Minecraft, Crossy Road, Animal Crossing, Puzzles and Dragons, Zelda, Pikmin, Splatoon, Shin Megami Tensei, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, Mario Kart, TowerFall, Persona 4 Golden... All on the same device. And it'll be your choice, whether you play these titles on your big screen or curled up in your bed on the portable.

The Switch has massive potential.
