Topic: Not an on the go console?

So I need internet to play games I buy Online. What a great on the go console!

Oh the games are great. The console fine a updated GBA adapter for the Gamecube but fine. It's the practices of a ignorant gaming company I can't stand. Simple as that.

Seriously though, I need some more context here. Your first post is rather... ambiguous. Are you talking about those cloud streaming games (2) in Japan, the DRM on the NES Online App or something else?

My downloaded games play fine offline.

@Luludog10 Umm you need the internet to play online modes of games. That's it. Any single player or even local multi player games work just fine without an internet connection.

Switch is the best portable console I've ever owned. Only real drawback is it's not pocketable and lacks backward compatibility.

@Galarian_Lassie I never played splatoon. What do you do in it

@Ninfan I mostly play Salmon Run (whenever it’s available) where you have to collect a certain amount of eggs by defeating Salmoids in the time given. You have to work well with your team to succeed, otherwise be splatted!

There’s also Turf War, Ranked mode, Story Mode, and a $20 DLC mode called Octo Expansion.

There is this thing called Wi-Fi and if not that there's 4G.

@Galarian_Lassie @Ninfan Salmon Run is my favorite mode too. I'd say I played it more than any of the others. Wish they had offered more sub modes. I wanted a big team mode with 8 players on a larger map, or a mode where weapons weren't random, and more Salmon run maps in general. But I really enjoy it!
