I'm in the USA I was broke when preorders were out for the switch so I couldn't preorder.
I wonder if they will possibly put out more preorders before launch?
I'm not broke now.
@KNIL
Fortunately it seems that Amazon UK and Amazon France have now made their pre-orders available again as of yesterday (after having sold out of their first batch for a while, so this definitely seems like they've managed to acquire a second batch of pre-allocated units). Even though you mentioned you live in USA, sometimes they have international shipping enabled, so you might get lucky. (or if not, keep checking back on all the amazon countries to see when the countries that consider you within their shipping area have their pre-orders enabled again).
-Here's another useful tip: Oftentimes it's not just the country you live in where they can deliver to. (a few deliver to my country, and others do not, and it will also vary depending on the shipping settings they have enabled for specific products too, so I find that it's always worth checking all of the various different amazons to see which ones do, for any given product, and never to just assume that they won't deliver because you saw a different product that happened not to deliver to where you live in that country at the time). They also frequently change their shipping settings too, so sometimes international shipping gets enabled or disabled at different times for even the same products.
Even if none of the ones that are currently enabled again don't deliver to you yet, I'd keep checking back all of them frequently, because the fact that they seem to have acquired more units in two of the countries again, means that they will probably start getting enabled in all the other amazon countries aswell soon too. So now is the time to keep checking so that you don't miss the second batch!
Anyone guilty of making more than one pre order? ive got one from Amazon and one from GAME. I plan on cancelling the Amazon one once GAME confirm they actually have the stock they say they are getting - I want to go to the midnight launch.
Got an email from Amazon UK today saying that my free delivery order has been 'upgraded' to release day delivery i.e. 3rd March. Which is nice. Or at least it would be if I wasn't going to cancel it. Presumably though others will get the same upgrade, so may not be worth paying for delivery.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
Guess I'm not alone in trying to get more than 1 pre order. I was there that night on best buy. I pre ordered it but never got a confirmation email or funds withheld, so it didn't go through, effectively. Now I'm waiting for them to get some more stock because I would much rather do a midnight launch than wait until late afternoon for Amazon to deliver it.
I pre-ordered way too much Switch stuff and I keep adding to the pile. My wallet is crying bucket loads
21 days to go
@gcunit - Oh awesome! Mine has been upgraded as well. It means at the midnight launch I can focus on making it great while the morning after I can rest. Awesome!

@Mellor2000 I need them for our gaming group's monthly events. And thank god we don't have 8 televisions to spare. Otherwise I'd be adding 8 docks to that list as well...
@Mellor2000 Way way back I said there would be two factors that would really make me a Nintendian again (which trigger our gaming group to really soar high). The first was that Pokemon went fully 3D. I love my Zelda and Mario but Pokemon got stale. But now it is in 3D and its gameplay is fresh. I topped 300 hours in X/Y and over 80 in Sun/Moon.
The second was a hybrid for Nintendo. I wanted a place where all my IPs could come to play. And here we are with the Nintendo Switch.
So yup, I am going all out! I'll see if I can take some photos of the event in March for you guys
@Grandpa_Pixel This is a fantastic idea. I'm going to start planning an event myself. It reminds me of old school LAN parties when I had to carry my desktop and monitor over to my mates house. The Switch is perfect for this.
Splatoon 2
Fire Emblem Warriors
Super Mario Odyssey
Xenoblade Chronicles 2
Ultra Street Fighter 2: The Final Challengers
Snipperclips
World of Goo

I'm well miffed about this! I decided not to get it on my partner's prime account and so I paid for expedited delivery (£4.00 more for guarenteed 3rd march delivery) when Amazon first listed them and now I have an email too saying they've upgraded them but when I checked they are still charging me £4 extra?
Got one preorderd at Amazon and one at Nintendo store, planning on cancelling Amazon order as soon as I get confirmed from Nintendo Store that I'll get it launch day.
Also Preordered Breath of the Wild and 1-2 Switch from Amazon.
Switch Neon £279.99
Zelda BOTW: £36.06 (£10 Amazon thank you code + £2 off for pre-ordering)
1-2 Switch: £27.99 (£5 Amazon gift voucher + £2 off for pre-ordering)
Total Switch Launch bill = £344.04
Also preordered Mario Kart 8 Deluxe for £32.99 (£10 code for having a student account + £2 off for pre-ordering)
Pretty happy all around.
Currently Playing: Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening
My Switch situation has rollercoastered somewhat on the last few days.
I already knew I was likely to cancel my pre-order unless some more must-have games got announced, but I was becoming increasingly despondent about Switch‘s prospects in general.
But then I found a way of getting Switch and Zelda with £26 off, which pretty much brings it down to the £300 threshold I'd set.
So I've cancelled my Wii U Zelda and initial Switch pre-order and gone for Switch/Zelda combo instead.
I'm still not convinced about Switch‘s future, but I've wanted a hybrid ever since I first got my 3DS, so I should really give it a chance. I'll probably only get a few other games this year (FIFA, Odyssey, Skyrim and MK8D if I can find the right price, Arms if it turns out to be really good).
You guys had me at blood and semen.
