I think Animal Crossing could make good use out of it, letting you know what items are in stock that day or reminding you when you have a meeting with a villager or an event that's happening, like the Fishing Tourney. I'm sure Smash 4 will get a port to the Switch in the future too and I'm guessing it'll use the app which would probably give details of tournaments and online matches.
@Samus7Killer For chatting, sure. But personally I use it all the time for it's other features. I like being able to check what maps are currently available, if Salmon Run is currently active, and seeing my match history in Splatoon 2. Ordering gear from there has been pretty useful too. I'd love to see Nintendo use features like this in their future games.
No idea. I find it really strange that Nintendo themselves don't even use it outside of Splatoon 2. Both Mario Kart 8 and ARMS should be there.
In my opinion they shouldn't limit it to online titles. I'd love to view statistics of offline games as well and be able to make purchases that appear in-game once I log-in. For example, in Breath of the Wild you could purchase some food or ingredients in the app that then fall from the sky once you start up the game when you get home.
Looking forward to: No More Heroes: Travis Strikes Again

You both have great ideas for how the app can be used. Hopefully more in-game services are added in near future for both online and offline games. It would also be nice to add friends via the app and send messages via the application.
