So I purchased my Nintendo Switch about two months ago and only once was I ever able to connect it to my Panasonic TV, on the first day that I got it. Now it does not display when switching to my HDMI input, and it has been like this for about a month and a half. I have tried multiple HDMI ports & cables, multiple docks, other TV's, plugging in the cables in the "proper order" (according to one thread on nintendo support) and so far nothing has worked. My Switch is up to date.
At one point i changed my TV settings in my switch to OFF on "Match TV Power State" and it worked... for about 30 seconds, then abruptly shut off and has not worked since. My conclusion is that either I have a defective switch or that it is just not compatible with the two TVs I have tried it on.
Wow surprised you went this long, yeah agree with the other post call Nintendo get it sorted.
Not gonna lie, someone suggested I send it in to Nintendo awhile back but i was so excited to play BoTW that I blew it off and just said whatever, I'll play it on the device. But since being able to switch to the TV is such an integral part of the Switch I figured it might be best to get it fixed and over with.
@joec273 lol I can understand when I got mine at midnight I sat for as many hours as possible before falling asleep with joycons in hand.
Did you call Nintendo? Or what about straight console swap in the store you bought it from, if they have any in that is.
Some of Mario Odyssey is seriously giving heart palpitations.... that plumber is trying to kill me!
