They didn't really have a choice, did they? E3 became less important with each passing year, because conferences like Gamescom or Paris Games Week were open to the public and therefore attracted a lot more people.
I wonder if there will be a Digital event this year and Treehouse coverage. I hope so, but its awfully quite. Normally there is a funny announcement video (like the Reggie-bot from some years ago), but nothing so far. And the event is as soon as June 13th (am I right?)!
What am I hoping to see? The new Retro title, wich is hopefully NOT another DKC. I rather have a very strong 3D Donkey Kong, A new 3D Metroid or a totally new title.
A new, high profile 2D Zelda would be awesome too.
Hopefully not to many ports, indies, Amiibo or multiplayer-games. I would love some proper single-player experiences from Nintendo. And good third-party Retail-titles, but that won't happen (apart from Darksiders 3. Darksiders 3 would be great and may not be impossible. The graphics look quite modest in my opinion).
