I just got my nintendo switch and i noticed an extremely odd problem, when I'm in home, I hear the sound when you move to select an option, and moves alone. I disconected my joy-cons and the problem stil happen, only when I'm in home, when I'm playing games everything works fine.
Anyone got the same problem and know how to fix it? 😵
That's very odd indeed. Does it only move around the menu? If it executed a game on its own, it could be caused by a badly calibrated touchscreen, but I'm not sure what might cause it if that's not the answer. Just to be sure, are you running the latest firmware? Does the sound come from the Switch itself or from your TV?
@Fromund That's even weirder, then. And it only happens when you're at your house and not in any other place?
Try to do the following, in order:
Reboot the system
Look for updates
Activate flight mode
Remove the joy-cons
Make sure blutooth is disable in flight mode so the joy-cons are completely disconnected. If the issue persists, it's probably a firmware issue. If nothing happens, then either one or both joy-cons might be faulty.
I found the problem. I've opened the touch screen calibrator and the problem is on the Touch Screen, probably a fabric issue. It's like someone is tapping in the right corner of the screen... I'm uploading a video about this issue, but I'm returning the Switch to the store anyway. Thank you guys for the help!
