They certainly haven't shown any signs of stopping selling those so far, @Tay205 ... & They must know plenty of people will still buy those, either because they're mostly playing on TV or they don't feel that the oled screen is worth the extra cost
I wouldn't worry about the burn-in issue. Modern OLED screens are much more resistant to it. YouTuber Bob Wolff left his OLED Switch on for 1,800 hours and noticed practically no burn-in. Link to Bob's video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crFifvVwSaQ
I have an OLED TV and game on it constantly, no burn-in as far as I can tell...only thing I would really worry about on the Switch is dead pixels...because my TV has some...most of them temporary and go away eventually. But there's one that's perma-semi dead. (red sub-pixel is dead for good)
@Tay205 They would probably announce it if it was going away so I wouldn't worry that much. If you're still worried and have the money, absolutely get it.
I was planning on getting it myself before hearing that it had burn in issues and thus I went for the cheaper OG Switch. I then heard that those issues were blown far out of proportion and weren't issues at all.
In short, learn from my mistakes

Just out of interest @Tay205, how many posts have your read where someone has said that they do not have burn-in, broken fans, etc?
Then compare the number of posts complaining of these with the number of switches bought.
30, 40, 50 people complaining versus 100,000,000 switch owners is such a tiny number as to be insignificant
@Tay205 Your OLED burn-in concerns are a tad silly. I still have my PS Vita from 2012...no burn in. You're more likely to experience dead/stuck pixels with an LCD screen than burn-in with an OLED screen.

I can see why you wouldn't worry about the burn in on the Switch (New System and probably better Hardware used etc.) however, i do know a few Users of the OG Vita and all of them Barely used it (2 Games played MAX, 100%ed thou) and now they started to play it again after many years and guess what, all of them have burn in weirdly enough, so the OG Vita (At least the Day One Model, idk anybody with one that came later, not talking about the Slim ofc because it doesn't have an OLED Screen) does have Huge issues with Burn in.
The Switch OLED Should be totally fine, especially if the Topic Creator only wants to use it Docked it wouldn't matter if its OLED or not.
Someday, somewhere in the Sky...
may we meet again.
@Tay205 Yes, I've had my SWOLED for a little over a month now.
