Nintendo should make the Nintendo Famicom(e) and the Nintendo Porticom. The Famicom(e) is a PC that includes 1TB and 20GB of memory, AND is backwards compatible with 3DS and Wii[u] games. The Porticom features 3D and 1080p graphics, two webcams, is also backwards compatible, and instead of the key/mouse pad, you get a GIANT touch screen to make it easier to draw/animate/model (if not comfortable, you can plug in a keyboard/mouse pad via USB.) The touch screen also has a built in NFC adapter for Amiibo. Both have a software called "Talk to Mii". This software can let you video chat with another player much like Skype, but you can also talk to them with your Mii's face much like Facerig. What's more is that you can tap the Amiibo to the touch screen and you can use different tools for customization. You can even turn yourself into the character you use. You could also play this app while you're in another app. If you don't care to hide your face, you can just chat as yourself.
But in all serious, I would rather Nintendo just port games to PC and release all you said as peripherals and software than have a second computer which would be overpriced and most likely have a custom OS incompatible with other companies software and games.

Here's a little secret for you, all consoles are PCs in the way you describe. The thing that makes them different is that they run on a specialised, locked-down OS and only allow you to run software that's entirely approved. The fact that PCs tend to have "better specs" doesn't factor into it because that's not necessarily always true. It's all about how locked down the platform is, nothing else.
If what you're trying to describe is something that runs a "Nintendo OS" and is locked down in the same way the Wii U is? That's no different to what they're already doing. Right down to the ability to plug in a keyboard which has been a thing on a lot of devices for a long time. If what you're talking about is allowing Nintendo software to run on more generic hardware then.... there are better ways and they wouldn't be the first.....
and lastly your specs. A 1TB HDD? Well the USB storage option they have isn't that bad at all. Truth be told I don't have that dissimilar a setup on my PC. Games are getting bigger for sure though and as storage gets cheaper? That's probably inevitable. Though personally I still like Nintendo's instance of having solid state storage out of the box. The bit about memory well it depends on what the split is between VRAM and system ram and what the box is for. For a purely gaming system I reckon something like 10GB combined is enough especially if we're not jumping to 4K, it's shared and managed well. And the last bit about 1080p graphics.... well how long until they actually have a new console out? I'd suspect that even if they launched the thing today they'd be pretty much there and I reckon we've got at least a couple of years before they do anything. Being "1080p ready" is inevitable.
