@GameOtaku Sorry. So you have to complete each stage in 10 minutes? Sounds super stressful.

Currently Playing: Yakuza Kiwami 2 (SD)

@Ralizah
No the game has the same overall time limit (tge new moon) and at first you have ten minutes to complete the main objective for the chapter as well as side quests. If you run out of time exploring you are sent back to the base and you sleep causing the moon to grow closer to new moon, you start again the next day (hopefully leveled up to allow more time) then when you defeat a boss you gain extra moon phases to prevent game over. Make any sense?

Hello,

I would like to know if japanese text is included in the cartridge? because on the back of the box, it says that english is required to enjoy the game which i suppose is the default language.
If someone has the cartridge could you put your console in japanese real quick to check if the language of the game switch to japanese? it would be awesome!!

thank you!

edit : looking more closely at the box it says only english for languages........... (((((((((((((((((((((((
If i buy the game from the eshop, will it be in japanese?

Is it possible? from what i heard almost all credit cards dont go through the japanese eshop, so you need to buy "prepaid cards" to redeem in the shop. I tried looking at them at amazon jp but they are all out of stock and i'm not sure if my credit card would be accepted (is it possible to buy on amazon jp even if you put a "random" japan adress?) ((

I wish i could just simply use my card like on the non jp eshop it would make things 1000k easier

Well i tried purchasing a physical import copy, it should arrive in a few days if everything works....

You could just get the English version. The voice over is still Japanese.

@scubydo where are you, you've got a game to play now. Try GameStop it's where I got mine.

It's apparently out of stock online at BestBuy (good sign, strong demand for Switch version, relatively speaking to their shipment of course), but Amazon has it.

I've been curiously interested in this since we were first told it was coming to Switch; it's good to hear that it has a whole lot more going for it than just the eye-candy. The little bit of gameplay I've seen makes it look kinda Kingdom Hearts-ish in the most basic sense. Can't wait to pick it up.

Would this be a game that would be one I would want to "keep"? The reason I am asking is because I can't find a physical copy anywhere in town or in the larger city I live by....I am not sure if it was limited in production or what. But would you recommend this as a download, if that was my only option?

Amazon Japan could block card @ first as they do a verification. I bought a Japanese code for Mario Odyssey from Amazon Japan as wanted to play it early. Card was blocked and I thought it wouldn't go through as they sent me email asking for a fax of a bank statement. I ordered UK code just before midnight as didn't have time do all that.

Woke up the next day and Amazon sent me email saying order gone through. Verification was all good.

I am now stuck with a Japanese code which I probably won't be able to sell

Good news is I won't have any problems ordering from Amazon Japan again I guess.

I'm going to keep my copy it seems like it would have a lot of replayability. I would keep checking around one is surely to come back in stock before too long.

Sorry, is this a code 'card'? If it's been unused, you can send it back to Amazon for a full refund. You may not get all your postage costs back, but you'll get the majority.

If it's more complicated than that, you can try contacting Amazon.co.jp's help desk directly, explain you can't use the code / was ordered in error.

They actually have English speakers who can reply back to you, even on the Japanese website.

It's worth a shot.

It's a digital code and yeah I already spoken to Amazon Japan. Said they can't refund once code has been released.

Sorry to hear about that kobashi100 if it was xenoblade 2 i would have bought it from you as i made a japanese amazon account to buy prepaid cards (they seem out of stock though) and game download codes (when it is possible : ex : for azure nights 2 there is no digital download code available at amazon ))..^^
i'm just unsure onto which adress "put" my credit card : the random japanese one or my real adress^^ i suppose it is the japanese one.

i ordered a physical japanese copy from a site but they told me that they need to get stock and it is supposed to take 7 days looks like i won't be able to play it soon i wish i could buy it digitally easily.

Considering Amazon ship to UK I don't think having a foreign address should matter.

My address was set to my Japanese tenso address as Amazon wouldn't sell Japanese oddesy code to non Japanese address

Not for that asking price, no. This is actually the first non-limited edition game that I have paid the full AU$90 asking price for, as I figured that this game would become ridiculously rare very quickly, and would probably have only a limited initial print. I probably bought the only available copy at the store (and mind you, I bought it on launch day).

Now, the game is enjoyable. The frame rate is all over the place (note: poor), but it's not unplayable by any stretch. Bear in mind that I'm playing this game almost exclusively in portable mode, and I haven't inspected its docked performance closely enough to be able to give you an opinion on it. For what it's worth, I'm enjoying the game a lot more than I thought I would, and it feels a bit like Bayonetta meets Dynasty Warriors. Make what you will of that.

If you are going to pay full price, I'd suggest you import a physical copy. Tecmo Koei niche games rarely (if ever) go on sale in the eShop.

It's too bad this game was so poorly optimized for the Switch. The framerate is trash in handheld mode, making it no fun to play. It might perform better on the dock, but if I have to play it on the TV, I might as well just get the PS4 version. And since I'm not looking for any more games that keep me tethered to a TV, I'll be passing on this.
