Seen a lot of hate on here for this game and I get folk aren't happy with the while microtransactions but there is so much more to this game. Been playing it for 3 days now and it's arguably the best looking switch game I've seen. I've only played the league section of it, yet to start the story section but if you're sitting on the fence for this don't hesitate

@javman05 it was the same with last years game. You can easily ignore the micro transactions and have great fun.

@DTMOF84 Yea, the server wasn't on but it online now for Nintendo. 2k was waiting for Nintendo to launch the online subscription.

@javman05 it's a great game. Started story mode recently and it's brilliant. There's a great easter egg in the arcade scene. It put a big smile on my face.

Not a big basketball fan so can't decide whether to buy this or last years entry for £10. Is there enough improvements to justify buying the latest game??

@KingFinest I've not played online yet, no doubt I'll get slammed but I'm willing to give it a shot mate

@blockfight I've just been playing my league but will hopefully start story mode this week, can't believe how good the game looks. Plus I've got FIFA coming tomorrow too

@bluemage1989 if you're not a massive fan I'd give last year's a shot first, think I was 47 pound for this year's and only got it cause I'd vouchers. This year's looks a lot better I'll say that

I don't mind paying full price when there is improvements to graphics and gameplay but with 2k18 being £10 and 2k19 being £60 (in my local store) it is tempting to buy last years. I haven't played a basketball game in almost 10 years but without Madden on Switch and no Mario Strikers I need to have my sport fix somehow.

@javman05 If you get fifa could you tell me how it plays and which modes are absent. It's on my list but i'm not sure yet.

@javman05 I've got fifa pre-ordered too. And some nice long flights coming up soon so quality time playing nba and football will be had. Can't wait.

Really like this I enjoyed last years and it seems they’ve improved on it which is awesome.

I think they’ve improved on last years game a bit. It looks pretty good in my opinion.

Screenshots disabled for this game? I haven’t been able to take one. I don’t remember if this was or wasn’t in 2K18 or not.
