I say this game is worth it just for the My Career alone. Really enjoying that so far even if I suck. This game has been far better then I thought it would be. Everything is really fluid on the court. Glad I picked this up!

I just got this for my birthday today, and it seems a bit overwhelming. I haven't owned and really played a basketball sim like this since probably the Genesis or maybe N64. Where would be the best place to start? There are about 5 different modes, and I'm not sure where to go first. All I've done so far is one game of the 2KU to try to learn how to play. It is really hard to shoot. I have to let go of the shoot button before the shot meter even appears on screen. If I wait to see it, it's already on the way down and too late. I think I made 2 shots that were not layups the entire game, and I even missed most of my layups. Is there something I am missing? Thanks for any help.
