This is the price paid for using the same engine and creating full parity across the board. This is exactly what people wanted, so there should be zero complaints that the frame rate and resolution had to take a hit in order to achieve it.
I think it's great seeing a game running with full parity in the same engine on Switch. Personally I think the custom engine EA went with was a wiser decision- 1080p 60fps, to me, is worth sacrificing full parity. But it seems a lot of others have valued full parity over peak performance.
I guess we get the best of both worlds. Btw, only 25gb means it will fit on a cartridge without any additional downloads required aside from updates.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE pretty sure that second video has Playstation button prompts. I actually watched that on the live feed and the guy was holding a ps4 contoller
Not switch gameplay. Sad we should have better footage of the game on Switch. I'm sure they knew it was going to be the version people was more curious about to see how it turned out.
If the rumours are to be believed, I'm guessing that they'll just give you exclusive Nintendo-themed cosmetic content (eg. scan a Mario amiibo to unlock a Mario themed court) - not sure how I'd feel if they released a new set of NBA player amiibo though! (eg. LeBron amiibo) :/
