Topic: My switch just died

So disappointed. Wanted to play mk8 and my switch just died. When I turn it on it displays the Nintendo logo and right after that the switch logo and that's it. Turning it off doesn't help, one time it displayed an orange screen...
Anyone been through that issue?

Worst thing is, I haven't really used it that much, never taken it outside, played mostly on weekends... Damn

Like Meowpheel said, you might have to contact Nintendo about this problem. I hope you get it fixed.

It'll suck, but Nintendo should have no problem fixing it/sending you another, functional Switch. I hope it's speedy for you!

Thanks for the tip. Didnt work at all, though. Called Nintendo and explained the situation, guy said it might a be a software problem. Gonna have to send it in.

Timing is a little bit unfortunate as I had planned to play botw the coming two weeks... but thats life I guess.

Sucks indeed. First nintendo console that broke. Like I said, I didnt use it that much, adult owned and never taken outside. Guess that reminds me to never buy a console at launch again, even if its nintendo. Was planning on beating botw these two weeks as I got some time off from work - yep, probably gonna play the wind waker or twilight princess.
Another thing that is bothering me: I bought that amfilm screen protector, if they replace the console it will be gone. The amfilm protectors come in a pair, so its not a big problem, but still - its another investment that might be lost in a way. I told the guy on the phone and he offered me to provide the official screen protector. I bought that one with the console but must say its complete rubbish and ways below the sturdy amfilm protector.

So sorry. Id complain a lot in some follow up calls.
They'll give you free stuff. I had to send my Switch in twice.. Got Zelda and Arms for free and like $40 eShop credit and a 2nd dock.
