Today I received my monthly pay and I wanted to buy a console but I was stuck between PS4 and Nintendo Switch as I use the train to travel almost every week and it's 3 hours ride I decided to buy Nintendo switch so I can pass time in between traveling. So today I went to the store and bought the console. NBA 2k18 was out of stock in stores so I decided to buy it online on the eShop which is one of the worst decision I have ever made in my life and no one was there to warn me about my horrible decision. So I came home charged the console and started downloading the game. For some reason downloading speed is very slow on Nintendo Switch. When I was at 55% which took 1.5 hours, I accidentally tapped cancel downloading and it canceled the downloading without any warning just straight up cancel. Devastated I started again and it took 3.15 hours to complete download this time and you know how they say 'Patience pays' but in this case nope just straight up LOL NOPE in my face. It took 3.15 hours to download 22 GB game (in steam it usually take 1 hour) and in the end, I can't play the game because I don't have enough storage left (4 GB required to play). So I still remained calm at 11:45 pm at night and thought I will get new SD card tomorrow and will transfer the game to the SD card. But nooooooooooo Nintendo still want me to suffer so I looked on the internet for how to transfer the game from internal storage to SD card and there is no way to do that, no freaking way. I have to delete the game from internal storage and download it again on the SD card which will take another I don't know another century to download. I don't understand if you can't use one SD card in multiple devices then why this restriction. So much of a portable experience for me.
@DTMOF84 And that reminds me of another problem with Nintendo Switch. So nowadays I am studying in the Netherlands and I don't understand the language they speak. Even though I selected English as my language and everything is in English the language in eShop is Dutch and there is no way to change it.
@DTMOF84 Yes it's possible but if you change you can't use a credit card from a different region and if you have credit in your account you have to use it all before you can change the region.
@maibhassin
Dang - that's the perfect storm. That sucks, man. If only they had the physical copies you would've been totally fine.
Kinda reminds me of the time my dad got me my Xbox 360 for Christmas, but he bought me a Prince of Persia game that wasn't backwards compatible with it lol
...was a sad Christmas weekend just starting at the console husk until all the stores opened on Monday.

Back in 2001 when the original Xbox came out I got a copy of Halo as a gift. Naturally thinking one of my other gifts would be the Xbox. Nope! My dad said โWell I knew you wanted to buy the Xbox so I got you a game for it.โ That was the longest day of every store around being closed.
@Samus7Killer you act as if nintendo doesn't get great 3rd party exclusives as well.
i could name a couple a dozen PS4 Exclusives right now that Switch only lovers would love to play. Dont be mad just cause Switch barely even gets a fraction of what their competitors get.
@Samus7Killer I'm not mad at all. I'm just pointing out that every Nintendo system has had some fantastic 3rd party exclusives. I have a PS4 btw. Are you just here to try and troll people? It sure seems like it.

WiiU had aweful 3rd party support... you call that fantastic? Now who's trolling.
The eshop is always in the language of the Country it's the shop for. It's the same with the Russian and Japanese shops. Create different Accounts for different eshops and use them.
