Topic: Miiverse

Do you think we'll ever see miiverse on switch?
I like to think we'll see an expanded version of miiverse make its way to switch. Especially if we're going to be paying a monthly fee.

I have my doubts though, especially since this is Nintendo after all..

Nintendo stated that there won't be Miiverse on Switch, and I think they're unlikely to change their minds on that unfortunately.

Yeah, I know. I do miss it a bit. It was a great time waster and I made great friends on there.

Miiverse will not return on Switch, and i'm really glad about it. I did not like it!

@FGPackers Yeah, it sucked. A lot. But my nostalgia prevents me from hating it.

@Nintendoer I don't even have nostalgia for it. Really never used it. Only for My Nintendo's platinum points...

@FGPackers Oh, well I had much more experience with it. I have over a thousand posts on it.

I love the concept and content of Miiverse... but it needs to be something you can access instantaneously, the load time made me use it much less than I would have liked to.

@gcunit that's exactly why the Switch version would make sense! It would be much faster and more usable on Switch.

@nectarcollectar But if you want to be able to access it instantaneously, it has to be running in the background, at least to some extent, and that will mean a hit on the Switch's overall available RAM and processing power, and therefore the Switch's current slick performance will decrease.
