Topic: Mii games for switch?

Anyone else wondering when nintendo is going to add some games that deal with miis?
Like miitomo or a new mii sports?

It would be nice for a update to add some social apps like the 3ds had. Street pass would be cool for the switch especially if they make a switch mini.

But it kind of sucks to have a mii maker but no mii plaza or street pass to play with them. The switch lacks charm in this department and it's disappointing that it's taking Nintendo so long to make the switch have more flare.

While there aren't any Mii specific games on the system, you can use them in Go Vacation, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Switch - NSMBU Deluxe
PS4 - Moss

I think Nintendo is done with miis outside of Mario Kart and Smash.

They would rather you advertise their products via your own personal FB or twitter.

With the closing down of Miiverse it's probably safe to say that Nintendo is done with Miis.

I think they're in New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe as well and act as avatars in Everybody, Hearts! by Cellnavi and Solitaire Battle Royal and Freecell Battle King by Making.

They feature in a few eShop and Japanese exclusive games, but they are very rarely used by Nintendo themselves beyond Wii and Wii U ports.

I have always liked them and want to see them be utilised a lot more than they are now. I'm pretty sure some of the Fifa games on Wii had incorporated them as well.

I like Miis too, it's a shame to see them being used less but in a way it makes it feel more special when they do appear in a Switch game. I'd love to see a follow-up to Wii Sports Resort, that was a brilliant game. (I get the impression that Go Vacation is quite similar though, maybe I should play that.)

I want an actual mii game again. Like sports resort. The motion tech is so much more reliable than it was.

@Jango296 This. If Labo Garage had only shown one thing, it would be that the motion specs in a joycon are worlds better than wiimotes.

@Silly_G absolutely! Fifa on Wii had a very easy going arcade soccer game with Mii's. That was a lot of fun. I hope a game like that will be included in one of the Sega Olympics games for example.

That said, I'd also really like a Wii Sports Resort kind of game for Switch. I still enjoy that game when I'm at my sister's and her kids.

@toiletduck : Definitely. A successor to Wii Sports, Wii Fit and the like is long, long overdue. And I hope Nintendo's Touch Generations line will continue to live on on Switch, such as the Nintendogs games, Brain Training, Tomodachi Life etc. There have been a few efforts to replicate Nintendo's past successes, and bizarrely, Nintendo themselves have published the likes of Fit Boxing and Go Vacation in some markets, but these simply do not compare to Nintendo's own coverage of these types of games.

The Wii Party games also made great use of the Wii Remotes (such as the hide and seek activity) and I would love to see a sequel to that too, or perhaps have such activities worked into the next Mario Party game.

I don't care about the Miis...with only one exception....Tomodachi Life. Where's the Switch sequel Nintendo?

And Miitopia. I wouldn't even mind if they just ported the 3DS version over. Both Miitopia and Tomodachi Life were such a joy to play. I must have poured countless hours into both.

Never got around to that game...but I could see Tomodachi Life getting a sequel with so much more stuff to do. More customization stuff for the Miis, more events and all that. I do wish the Mii Maker on Switch had more additions than just more hair colors. :c

I actually remember in a 2008 or 2009 issue of Nintendo Power, they asked readers what kind of game they wanted Nintendo to make. One response was an RPG starring Miis where you pick Miis for the heroes and villains and all that. I thought it sounded awesome, but didn't think they'd ever make it.

Then almost a decade later they make Miitopia and I finally get to play the game I'd wanted to play for years. And after all that, I didn't even like it

As a few here stated, Nintendo is emphasizing on Miis less on the Switch...which is a shame because I actually liked playing as my Mii in most of the games I played (except for Sonic Racing Transformed...ugh...). Hopefully Nintendo gives the Miis a second chance in the future because to this day, I still await another Wii Sports (Go Vacation doesn't count) and Miitopia. And bring back Miitomo too. I miss putting my Miis in different poses for photos

Well, at least you got to play as your Mii in a quirky setting as opposed to being a prisoner in a generic medieval setting.

I'm just happy that the new dog game is coming out on the 28. At least I'll have somethi ng like nintendogs.

I just wish Nintendo would listen a little more and give the switch games people would really buy. And make the switch more sociable like the 3ds

I bet we'll be able to use our Mii faces in the upcoming Animal Crossing like we did in the last iteration. I'll be unhappy if they don't include that.

The loss of StreetPass was heartbreaking. I bought Miitopia on impulse and loved it.

I would like to see Nintendo release more mini-games. Incorporation of Mii's is optional, but would be cool.
