Pretty cool, I have the first game on my backlog. Since this is a June release in Japan, I expect it'll arrive in early 2020 in the west. The question is, between Animal Crossing, Pokemon Sword/Shield, DQ XI, Destiny Connect, RPG Maker, Alliance Alive, etc...where will I find time to play the first entry? sigh It's a good time to be an rpg fan on Switch, isn't it?

Isn't that just the rating for the game in general?
Anyway, it's not a game I need immediately, so I'm going to wait and see if there's going to be a physical version. If not, I guess I'll get it sometime next year. The price is a bit too far out of my comfort zone for digital purchases, but since it's two games I can probably let that slide.

hmm...I bought the Amazon Japan version wonder if it has EN for option.
Unfortunately the Japanese version does not support English.

Was just doing research on this series and decided I want to purchase, not only because the first game seems interesting and the second promising, but because I want to support the developers for not censoring this version.
I was all decided to buy digitally when I came across your post. ESRB means in the United States right? So what you’re saying is, it should be getting a physical release here in the west?

Correct, based on the ESRB rating a physical release in North America should be guaranteed. Although when that would happen? I couldn't guess. Last year I saw an ESRB tweet for (the currently Europe-only physical release) State of Mind. However, a North America release hasn't materialized yet.

Hmmm... if it’s 20% off discount at launch ($31.99 + $1.60 back in gold coins) I’ll probably buy digitally, since we don’t know for sure if it’s releasing at retail, plus I want to support them. The game is Switch-exclusive in the west, after all. Which is pretty big considering the first was originally Vita-exclusive in the west (I think?). That kind of Vita—>Switch migration should be supported imo. Show these companies that yes, you should transition your old Vita support to Switch (while also supporting them for having the gall to release uncensored on Switch).
Hopefully you’re right though. At the very least, LRG could step in. Unless they’re scared to touch it, as many of these companies are becoming skittish.

@JaxonH Whether you decide to go physical or digital, you won't be disappointed. Assuming you're a fan of dungeon/rpg games? Etrian Odyssey, Labyrinth of Refrain, etc. You'll find quite a bit of content and value for the asking price.

It’s not typically a genre I play, but I pride myself on playing everything, as I believe every genre can appeal to every person, it’s just a matter of playing the right game.
I have all the Etrian Odysseys and Labyrinth of Refrain surprised me with how good it was. But I’m not too well-versed on the best games of the genre. I hear this game brought up in conversations the whenever people are discussing the best games in the genre, regardless of whether or not peoples actually agree it’s the best. So I figure it’s gotta at least be in the top 5.
I also like the nightmares chasing you, and how all the girls are named after fairytale names. I wasn’t too interested in till I saw a video review of the first, and that really changed my mind on this game. Then when I heard this included both games in a single package, I was like yup, I’m sold.
