That's not Carol's Warbird costume, it's her second Ms. Marvel costume, the one she had previously been best known for (though i have seen it incorrectly referred to as the Warbird outfit before).

The actual "Warbird" costume is the second from the left in the bottom row:

Actually if you read some of the 90s-early 00s Avengers comics she goes by Warbird with the black costume, off the top of my The Kang Dynasty features it specifically. After she lost her Binary powers she wore the black costume and went by the Warbird when she joined the Avengers which is why it gets dubbed the Warbird costume. She did wear it when she initially joined The Avengers as Ms Marvel but that was largely a flop run which the infamous mind control rape abduction thing. She kept it when she went back to being called Ms Marvel after House of M.

Fair point. I suppose i was being more of a stickler in that her Warbird identity/costume was that specific SHIELD-esque outfit, but you're right, there was that transition-period before the post-House of M run. Yay, we're both right!

The gauntlet is a nice addition, I do wish the update would have streamlined the menus though.

Does anyone know when the next DLC wave is due? The 2nd batch was just listed as 2019 but there's been very little talk about it since the last update.

Any idea if this will be part of any Black Friday sales?

I bet it'll get some discounts for Black Friday. I'm glad you guys bumped this thread - almost forgot about this game. Would be fun to play with my brother over the holidays.

@jump No info yet but it could be a Game Awards shadow drop given the game itself was a Game Awards reveal and the past few years has had something releasing almost immediately after the event (2017 was Champions Ballad, 2018 was Smash Ultimate).

Can you go back and replay levels without beating the game first? Would like to attempt to level up more than just 4 main heroes to add variety in late game.

Where is the X-Men dlc? Even though I had to restart the game due to my saves being wiped out I feel that its long overdue already. At this rate we'll be lucky to get the F4 dlc (which is the one I'm really waiting for) by the end of 2020.

I'd like a couple more freebie characters too, the lack of Silver Surfer irks me.

If they are going to add more free characters it's more likely to be NPC already in the game like Nebula, Jessica Jones, Beast etc like they did with Cyclops and Colossus rather than create someone from scratch.

Hi guys. Thinking of buying this as co-op for me and my daughters (age 5 and 9) to hsve a button mash, but wondering whether bad language or any heavy themes might make it less suitable for youngsters? I know they'll find it tricky but they'd love to play as Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales! Any opinions from those who have played it?

@ViewtifulJotun I don't think there's any bad language at all really, and aside from the typical "destroying the entire universe" thing, no real heavy themes that would otherwise be inappropriate. Really, the only thing is that some of the characters are dressed a little scantily, as you would expect. If your kids can handle basic comic book stuff, they should be fine.

Now, as for the gameplay, it's simple to get started, but it does have some more advanced features that could be a little complex for them. And some of the levels require a little bit of problem solving. So I would recommend keep it on an easier setting so you don't stress them out.

The Fantastic Four dlc and a bunch of free outfits are out on Friday. I’m a big Daredevil fan so I’m really looking forward to seeing what his one is going to be, I’m hoping for the og yellow one but I have a feeling it’s gonna be the all black ninja thing instead.

Finally the Fantastic Four dlc is out but it's probably going to take me about 5 years to be able to unlock them! Why couldn't this have been the first dlc. I only have one character even close to level 90 so I have no hope of completing the Gauntlet. ☹

i heard theres a white outfit for Blade. Where exactly in the game do you even get Blade's white outfit? ive been playing the game for couple of months. DIdnt know Blade even has a white outfit

finally started playing this (even thought I bought it at launch) working from home is really helping my backlog. Enjoying it so far. Mostly grinding in the gauntlets for now.

@CaPPa you can play as the FF in DLC straight away, it's on level 50 the same as FF.

@urrutiap I can't remember which one is which but there's 3 extra costumes for Blade. One is locked in the gauntlet mode and the others you have to buy from the SHIELD depot.

I'm disappointed by the hidden character, I mean it's cool to play as someone that overpowered but with a game like this that has such a huge selection of character to pull from I'd like to have seen someone new. I'm still hoping for some more free in game characters to come, I really want to play as Jessica Jones and Beast.
