Topic: Super Mario Party (Switch)

Nintendo announces Super Mario Party for the Nintendo Switch.

RELEASING ON: 18th October 2018.

I'm excited for this (I already have it pre-ordered lol). I think this will be one of the best MP games... it looks like its taking the best elements from the original games and improving it even further. Can't wait for October

This will be my first time buying a Mario Party game. Kind of looking forward to it. Haven't decided yet if I'll get a physical copy or digital though.

I've never played a game in the series. This is what...number ten? I'm on the fence about buying it, although I probably will make the purchase since it's one of the last few games Amazon has given the prime discount to. Something that Amazon just doesn't do anymore it seems.

I'm actually wanting this one, which is saying something, the past games were BORING. I think the last one I played was...Island Tour I think? Two weeks or so later and I took it back, it was a waste of money. This game is going back to giving us the classic mode that we all missed, they should have been doing this in past games and having everything else be bonus content or something.

This one will blow the numbered games away. It'll be like playing with power.

A Super Mario Party bundle is being released on November 23rd.
It comes with the game and neon green and pink Joy Cons.

Wait, that's a bundle of the game plus a pair of joy con? Depending on how much it costs, that might be what I end up getting. Been thinking I should get another pair of them. The color scheme for the pair is only half appealing to me (pink I can do without), but eh, whatever.

Only 10 coins for a star? Is that new, or did they drop the cost in an earlier game?

I am honestly so excited for this. Mario Party 10 was one of my favourite games on WiiU, a game I still playing now, and I have fond memories of the series on N64/GameCube (never actually played on Wii) so I hope this game doesn't disappoint and that sales are great.

Hoping that a Mario game's sales on Switch are great is kinda like hoping the sky will be blue tomorrow. ...kind of a safe bet, I assume.

Anyone heard if you can play this online? I don't have any friends in real life

I'll be grabbing the game on launch then getting the bundle with the joycons too (I only have the one pair). Undecided if I will trade in the launch copy towards the bundle or just give it away.

Tough choices.

I would have liked a different colour pair, make it bit more special or unique.
