@Thunder_Pilot You make a good point. People fall all over themselves for the brand name and they will regurgitate whatever they hear their friends say or read on the internet, but consumers don't research nearly as much as they should. Also, they will usually pay through the nose not on a product's merit but on bragging rights.
Very true!, and it's a shame really. People seem to want to be told how to feel about a product. I had a client recently, who purchased a 75 Inch high end Sony Bravia, because it was the most expensive the store had in catalogue. I went to his house to work on something, and he had it hooked up with composite cables to his cable box. The store delivered and set it up like that. He had been bragging about the 4k picture.
"Adults" are actually the worst segment for this, only aficionados care about picture quality at all, and a good portion pay for high definition and then proceed to watch standard definition channels when HD is just one channel up.
Nah, don't agree with you. I think you are incredibly wrong.
You're free to think what you want. I used to think everyone cared about such things myself until I started working for a company that sells and works on them.
And if you're an adult, you probably have kids or will soon. It's only a matter of time until there is a grilled cheese sandwich stuck somewhere you never imagined it might fit in one of your treasured electronics. Tiny scratches on a screen become a very small point in life.
I'd love to have a Mario Maker for Switch if it comes with A LOT of updates. I'm talking slopes, placeable water and lava pools, more enemies, game and background themes and so and so on. I'd even be okay if it was handheld-only, too! This is basically one of my most wanted games for Switch.
I'd like that as well! More game styles like SMB 2, and 16-bit versions of the SMB and SMB 3 styles, with sky/athletic theme, and more enemies such as the Koopalings, Waddlewing, Amp, Scuttlebug, Fliprus, Sushi, and others! Maybe even some Super Mario Odyssey themed DLC...

This.
Right now the screen protector under my Switch is filled with more cat hair than a shoebox on a windowsill in the middle of August. (That's "A LOT," for the uninitiated.) And, yea... I couldn't care less lol I can still see the picture just fine, and that's all that matters.
Youtubers and OHMYGODIHATEEVERYTHING people are not the majority of consumers. I strongly believe this.
I think that we should stop arguing about cat hair and just play Mario Maker on the Switch and....oh wait....there is no Mario Maker on the Switch! Maybe we should spend our time on getting that done instead of arguing about who's screen is better. Just sayin'
