Topic: Mario kart - Kart drifting right

Hi,

I have been playing Mario Kart 8 on the Switch for a few weeks without any issues.

I have been playing today and the last keeps drifting to the right of the track without me directing it there. This makes it tough going around corners and in the home straight, I am having to direct the kart left to move straight. It is the same with different characters, tracks, vehicles, tyres and parachute thing.

I have Googled this and can't find any resolutions to the issue. I have tried the normal options when the game is paused but doesn't seem to make any difference.

Can anyone advise what is going on, or how I can fix this?

Make sure you don't have tilt controls turned on.

Lol my missus did exactly that for 2 races she was so confused bless her.

It might also be a good idea to calibrate your controller. You can do that in System Settings.
