Go to the controller option on Switch dashboard.
Change grip order - (pressing the sl and sr buttons on each configures to 2 player)
Select Arcade Archives.
Then pump a few credits in with sl and press sr on 2nd joy con.
(So basically, split your joycons before entering the game. Hope this helps.)
This is just a quick little question but have anyone that have purchased Mario Bros. on the Switch. noticed that the colors in game are very pale for some reason. It doesn't bother me too much but in the screenshots on the eShop and in the in game manual, the colors correct, but not in game.
Other than the colors, I think the emulation is great. Finally someone got the walking sound right!

@TechnoCharlie I don't notice any pale colors in my Vs. Mario Bros. game. For this game (and Vs. Super Mario Bros.) i went into the Display settings and turned OFF the filters. I find it looks best this way. Perhaps you have the game set to a dark, pale lookin' filter??? Not sure but good luck.
@bezerker99 Interesting, because the funny thing is that I've checked all the settings. Currently I have no filter on and it still looks pale. And another thing is, I watched a couple of gameplay videos of the game on YouTube and they also have sort of a pale screen. I don't know if it is just me or what, but the screenshots on the eShop looks better than the game you buy in my opinion...
@kyleforrester97 No unfortunately it didn't work. I don't think it's my display or my Switch, because again the screenshots shows the true colors. And I'm viewing the images on my Switch so......yeah. I think it is the game. But thanks anyway!
